Repentance(as your word search acknowledged) can be associated with a meaning of two variables both of which desire forgiveness. In the case of the image you chose it clearly is the latter, the forgiveness of sin which implies religion.

Redemption however is a term hijacked by the New Testement by followers of Jesus of Nazareth who was a Cynic Philosopher rather than Christ and who plagiarised the teachings of Hellenism Philosophy. (Socretes said 500 years before Jesus ...' don't avenge injustice for risk of damnation of one's soul...' The Existentialist doesn't look for favour nor forgiveness, redemption comes in the form of self-redemption or the knowing when you are wronging other people. Its the basis of ethics and is completely outside religion.

Capitalism is not the problem here, crony capitalism is. There is nothing wrong with market economics as long as it's competition rather than cheating. When there is insufficient regulation you get monopolies, price fixing, cartels and insider trading etc. When one person is allowed to dredge the depths they take everyone else with them who then have to do the same to compete or leave the sector to only those who want the monopoly, such as you.
