Catterick miles behind here.  Must be the worst day we've had for BFLV in several weeks.

Think its now believable that its taken Racing Tv 8 weeks to try and rectify the stream latency, and it could be another 8 weeks. On todays evidence I think thats a very optimistic outlook

no.

it's about a million miles behind those with faster pictures...

thanx for asking tho.

Sadly I have no new update, the new stream seems to be a few weeks away yet. A quick question

Given how fair people perceive the in running markets to be when the RTV low latency stream fails to load, how would people feel if it was turned off until it is ready? Therefore everyone is relying on RTV pictures via SKY only, or the high latency stream on BLV.

No idea whether it could be just generally curious.

delighted thebootman...

either that or bin all the silly nonsense 'add-ons' we didn't have during the trial which now seems to be causing the issues...

all the graphics garbage nobody wants...

first preference for me is binning the LV until the fast one is ready tho...

absolutely.

What do you tell the people who don't have a RTV subscription and want to watch the race without betting I/R?
By:

Duffy - yes that's a very fair point. Any idea how many in runners out there don't have access to Sky via RTV? I'm aware of at least 2.

I'd prefer the stream to remain. I reckon half my profits come off people who are peering at an internet stream instead of a big, HD telly picture half a second later.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and what do you tell people who should have a pretty fast stream by now and are being gazzumped race on race by folk with a faster stream or faster pictures at least...

as well as drones and all the other nonsense that goes on...

Would be even worse imo the bootman, there's no way it would be every stream that was gone, they'd still have the fast one
and that would just put the regular lv users even further behind using sky. Sky is only any use when EVERY STREAM is down including the raw one ofc

By:

When: 05 Aug 20 17:13
oh i agree EVERY stream would need to be down james...

but presumably if RTV LV is pulled then every stream would be down...

coz we've been repeatedly told there is no fast stream out there...

I don't have Sky so only use BFLV and I'm sure there's loads of others in the same boat.

So the the idea here is to disadvantage everyone who doesn't have Sky to create a level playing field?

from June 2nd they should have just given us what they did in Feb/March...

and work on a solution to whatever issues they have been having...

that was common sense imv...

I have no issue with bots unless they operate without the 1 second delay. Regular bots provide much needed liquidity.

By:

When: 05 Aug 20 22:55
The in-running markets would have collapsed a long time ago without the in-house bots seeding the market. The issue is whether they are operating fairly or not which is why the 1 second delay should be removed.
