Well done to winners. I should have greened out.
Anyone know what odds the 2nd went to please? |
By:
Alex Hammond needs retiring as well
Some of them are frigging ridiculous It came 2nd duck, it didn't win |
By:
Outstayed.
But the time to be in front is on the line. |
By:
she pretty much got across and ran her race, looked all but home, maybe just tired but think the winner took it on merit

wonder if people still think she is better than frankel?
By:
Just not to be; trainer reckoned the ground in the last 1/2f did her in. But, Waldgeist deserved it.

I always remember what the top yank trainer said when aeroplane beat his monster.
Each championship races takes its toll. I hope they retire her now. A furlong out only one winner |

Another success for Galileo

Will the EU give us a deal now we've let them win the Arc?

the hyperbole from these pundits is puke inducing

To many hard races this year took its toll went to the well once to often this year and paid the price

Jesus lads how exciting was that i still cant believe Enable got beat looked a Cert with a Furlong to run.

By:
through magical/japan(crystal ocean) that was one of her best runs, ok not through the winner, but the winner might have beaten her last year with a clear run
By:
Commentators using every excuse for the horse but she ran her race so nobody can be overly disappointed ... good performance on the ground but outstayed by something better on the day
By:
Enable was too short to back and too good to oppose for me. I never really looked at the market in the last week but staggered to se that Waldgeist was 20/1. Just 2 lengths behind Enable at Ascot and on soft ground, the only 2 5yos were first and second.

Frankie saw the 2 3yo's coming and asked her to go and win her race but Waldgeist had bided his time.

will be backing the 3rd next year if bit better ground

BAMOS layers!
How many EXCUSES from the Gosden/Enable camp? |
By:
jg and teddy grimshaw fantastic in interviews after losing, but nothing from frankie, just shows everything about him,
By:
Why is everyone so surprised at the hype of a British horse trying to win 3 Arcs in a row which had never been done before?
By:
but nothing from frankie, just shows everything about him,
Probably wondering about the tactics. |

Anybody on TV giving any credit to PC Boudot ... thought he gave the winner an explempary ride
By:
Actually geordie it was the only ride he could give if he wanted to involved in the finish.
He was at it from quite a way out, and only won because Enable was tying up in front. |
By:
i thought he made a winning decision going outside, the horse was looking at the gap between 3rd & 4th and he checked it to the outer, I agree with Geordie it made the difference
