Interesting switchers coming fast and furious today:
11.55 Grand Visir 7/1, good and bad on the flat but won a Class 2 off 90 and a Class 3 (after wind op, only run for Butler) off 94, in good hands for jumping debut after wind op, wouldnt ;ike to see a drift to 10. 12.00 Buildmeupbuttercup 13/8, in a field of 30 runners no less, won a NHF race at Ascot for Channon last year, finished last in a Listed Race and last in a Group 3 at Newbury way out of his depth but is now with Mullins! 12.15 I Cant Explain 7/4, a cheap buy after easily winning a PTP for E McNamara, the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th have come out and won 12.20 Bennys King 11/2, capable hurdler(won Class 3) but jumping let him down on chase debut, moved from Venetia Williams to Slkelton, would like to see a big drift 12.25 Caltex 7/1 drifting a little, capable if cutting out the mistakes, moved from Gordon Elliott to Oliver, switchers from Elliott dont have a fantastic record so wouldnt like to see much of a drift. 12.50 The Kings Baby 7/1, struggled chasing now back to hurdling and capable again though wouldnt like to see too much of a drift. 1.00 Jetstream Jack, another moving from Elliott this time to Olly Murphy, not a selection yet but if backed under 10s would be, back hurdling off a mark jst 4lb higher than his winning hurdling rating. 2.50 Bouvreuil 7/1, like Elliott the Nicholls switchers dont have a great record so wouldnt like to see a drift but way down in Class has to be looked at. 8.15 Temur Khan 7/1, showed little of late for previous stable but Tapeta debut for Carroll 2nd run for Trainer: 12.40 Overawed |

Having his first runner since 2012 when he was banned for a year, along time out of the game, has he been doing anything else does anyone know?
His runner today (Western Morning) came up as a yard switcher from Oliver Greenall is how I noticed' obviously it has to be a switcher of course. |

By:
Trainer Milton Harris, whose training licence was not renewed by the BHA seven and a half years ago having been declared bankrupt, will saddle his first runner back at Huntingdon on Sunday.
It has been a long road back for Harris, via two failed appeals to the BHA but, having now met their requirements, Western Morning will become the first runner of his second spell as a trainer in the Fairfax And Favor Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle under Bryony Frost. "It's been too long, but that's life," said Harris. "There are people worse off than me. It's been a long road, a very difficult one, and without my extraordinarily loyal owners I wouldn't be here now. We're delighted to be back." Harris is confident winners will come, if not necessarily on Sunday: "We're still getting used to the facilities – which are the best I've ever had – and it's a sight to see where we are with them." On the chances of Western Morning the trainer added: "He wants decent ground, which hopefully he'll get, this is his trip and we have a very experienced jockey - nothing would give us greater pleasure than to come back with a winner. He'll win races, I'm just not sure if it's tomorrow." |

Interesting switchers: Not a lot to get excited about though,
1.04 Aubusson 12/1, (Williams to Williams) only of interest if backed below this price, trainer already had a winner in the first at Kelso. Furthest trip yet for this horse, has gone reasonably well for this claimer in the past. 1.20 Hun Kyllachy Gala 12/1, again only of,interest if backed below this price, NH debut, rated as high as 104 on the flat and rated 92 last run when 2nd at York, looks like a drifter at the moment. 2.25 Hun Tea For Two, another Willimas to Williams, 9/1 would like to see some money for this one 3rd in The King George but not so good since. 2.40 Kel Bee Crossing 5/1 showed some decent form in Novice Hdles before being outclassed in the Mares Final at Newbury, point winner 2nd run for trainer: 1.25 Pun Grotesque 3/1 |

Don't really fancy any of them today.....
|
|
By:
Yes I garee pixie, very much like yesterday, nothing to get excited about, although I'm still looking at one of them at the moment.
|
|
By:
Interesting swithcer:
2.45 Sword Of Fate 12/1 still just a 5 yr old and back over hurdles, hurdles form not great in the context of this race but on good going or better then his record is pretty good, 6/9 wins with one place, distance an unkown but at around 12/1 and 15.5 and 3.95 a place on betfair, is maybe value and in with an each way shout. |
|
By:
......and then a massive drift just as I post!!
|
|
By:
I thought that was the most plausible (and had a tiny bet in case), Oily, although I fancied the winner in that race and was my only other bet of the day (which I had a bigger bet on). I didn't bother with the winner, Get Out The Gate, or any of the others.
