I remember Willie promising a large donation to a charity on here( few years ago)and true to his word, he did just that. Stepping into a ring would be right up his street, if loser donated to a good cause. However,being able to punch someone's lights out proves very little. It certainly doesn't make one person better than another. Therefore, as this IS a betting exchange, and we all think we " know a bit", might I suggest a little head to head between Dom and Willie? After all, most feuds on here relate to one's ability to find a winner, or indeed a loser. Two selections each per day for one week( no lays!) , twenty pounds stake per day. The one with least in the tank after seven days donates £50 to charity of winners choice. No black eyes, no broken wrists, honourable conclusion for all concerned!

Two sensible suggestions ELG/ERS, unfortunately neither will be acceptable to both incumbents, this will most likely continue until one or both of them are given a holiday by the mod's.
Neither has covered themselves in glory lately and both are under the illusion that they are correct for some reason when it is glaringly obvious to anyone that has read their contributions that they are both at fault. Taking each to task, domino for reasons known only to himself, has since first posting, been guilty of lacing his posts with several coats of embellishment to supposedly divert people away from identifying him and latterly because it seems to give him a kick to appear to others as a persona he believes impresses others, nothing could be further from the truth of course and now having dug himself a hole has vowed to stop posting rather than holding his hands up, coming clean by admitting he has been economical with the truth and starting afresh being himself, rather than as the angry man he portrays on here at the moment, in response to his growing band of detractors. Moving on to Willie shafter most over the years have become accustomed to his ways of dealing with suspected fantasists/liars and leave him to it, however, recently he has blotted his copybook on here with a number of others after admitting to reporting people to the mods and his repetitive copy and pasting of posts on several threads that achieve nothing other than frustration to those trying to read or navigate said threads. The simple answer of course would be to block one another but that will of course not happen as it would comprehensively put an end to their feuding, which neither really wants as they get a buzz from their schoolboy bickering. So guys who is going to take the lead and act responsibly by selecting the block button and moving on...? |

I do not know or care to know what 'Willie Shafter' writes as I've had him/her on "ignore" along with several others many moons ago; they are merely non-entities on this forum as far as I'm concerned; they do not enhance my knowledge of horse racing, or humanity either.
What I think would be prudent and adult-like is for the "warring" entities to exercise a bit of decorum and maturity, and to grasp the aim of this forum; just stop this tit-for-tat non-horse racing conducive behaviour. |

you have now repeated what someone else was accused of recently, changing words to support your own agenda, I made no reference to you being a "wrongun", I merely pointed out that you had loss respect from some after admitting reporting a post, that in no way implies anything about your character whatsoever on my part. You are both at fault for different reasons that are of no concern to anyone but the two of you, either arrange to meet and resolve your differences without involving everyone else, or, hit the block button, for two people who purport to be intelligent you are both acting rather dense given the resolution of the block button is readily available to both of you every time you post, it just needs one of you to choose to be the adult. |

You are welcome and correct to a point, after all I am able to block both of you should I wish, problem is, it is on so many threads now with others input, that it makes navigation unnecessarily difficult and tiresome, how do I avoid that, block everyone...? And please don't say ignore the threads as both good and not so good threads have been hijacked by the pair of you to trade insults. |
