Three qualifiers for specials today Herculean 2 (R Charlton) Move Swiftly 2 (W J Haggas) Simple Thought 7 (S Crisford) I'm not so keen on Herculean as those w2 form shows only 1 win from 9 previous qualifiers, but it is more lightly raced than those so could win. Move Swiftly is the nap but can only see Simple Thought for a place. |

Had to struggle to win - at odds 1/6 Move Swiftly is the nap "but can only see Simple Thought for a place." Herculean 2 (R Charlton) won 1/6 Move Swiftly 2 (W J Haggas) won 4/7 Simple Thought 7 (S Crisford) 3rd 3/1 (7 ran but BF pay on 3rd) Not a big payout but job landed. |

Apart from a couple of very long odds on shots,The Thread struggling for winners lately.
See if we can put that right today and avoid 2nd's that trade at ludicrous prices in running. 7.40 Galway Limini NAP:At first i thought Around 2/1 she is short enough, however do feel she has strong claims v this lot the more i look into this race. What can i Say!
Did pretty much what i predicted apart from win. She traveled like the good thing only to get mowed down by another one of Willie's. Another bloody 2nd! feels a bit similar to Crystal Ocean a couple of days ago. didn't check this time if she went odds on in running but can only imagine looking at the race she must have done. The winner to be fair was at the back and going wide the whole way round and must have also traded at massive odds in running. |
