Lol, that's quite funny for Betfair and no doubt Keith will be back for tomorrow too.

Laughable the bookmakers are unable to form a market and offering ridiculous margins.

We are still working on the technical issues. Rest assured we will aim to get this resolved as soon as possible. We do not have an estimated time as to when this will be resolved. We do apologise once again for any inconvenience caused.

I guess I should have known better than think someone at Betfair had a sensee of humour, Slicer :)

They might have a sense of humour Joe, but this outage is costing them millions in commission AS WELL AS costing us pro punters the winnings that we expect. So I am sure they are NOT laughing at the moment!

Why is it that we all know these outages are caused by betfair cramming too much on one site and betfair don't seem to understand it? The solution is simple, all they have to do is put all the other krap on another site and just have the Exchange on the main site.

A testament to the decline in quality of the postings on here the last few years don't you think? Laugh

I wonder how many only open up the forums when a selection gets done at 1.01, or there's a big fat finger bet... or an outage... Wink

Could it be that the £84 done at 1000 in the race just prior to the "crash" was the BF bot's?
By:

When: 21 Dec 17 16:37
that did cross my mind too wes
By:

When: 21 Dec 17 16:41
But 84 grand is just a spit in the ocean compared to the commission lost during an outage of this duration. It is more likely that he guy who feeds the rat that runs in the wheel that turns the generator that runs the Sinclair Spectrum computer that controls the site has gone home early for Christmas!

but don't think they'd take the non exchange bits offline if they had a bot issue

Agree, its now a terrible forum.

Purple is moribund. Good luck with that. You can only get a bet on when Betfair is working and the techies are arbing their way to a few quid.
The on course market is dead, bar the big meetings. Further evidence today from those massive over rounds at Exeter.
The only market that functions at all (declining as it is) is on this site.

By:

Yes I get all that but we are not a captive audience. We need to act or we get a BF site run by an awful PP. The more we act the better things will get.....I hope !

think the Russians put their top 5 year old onto cracking betfair's security

got in using a couple of crayons and a mr man pencil case
