yep GL with the bets
hardly any bets for me @ goodwood this week given the state of the track

the grade will be the thing that beats these imo

the ground could not feasibly be an excuse

hochfield has won a class 4 on g/s @ chester fair enough but its best form is on good ground (doesn't mean defo best on good ground, just so happens they are his last 2 runs and he's got a progressive profile) I just wouldn't assume that because he's won on g/s means he'll be fine on it at this level, class could have got him through in the class 4 & a lot of johnston's want really decent flat racing ground to show their best

same comments apply to londinium who's best piece of form (ripon) is on good as well and has won on g/f
all his other runs were with cut

fair do's wonders

if there's ever a meet to give the benefit of the doubt

londinium certainly should be fine even on hvy

its goodwood, its a valuable hcap, there will be money for johnston horses regardless SE

not saying you don't make a valid point SE, I just prefer to sit his horses out when rain about and I don't think these 2 are any different although I can't see him bombing out given they have shown some form with cut

hope 1 of them wins Cool

not really sofias rock

maybe the SDS

but stays a lot further could be an angle
By:

When: 02 Aug 17 14:28
sofia's rock got 1 run with cut, ran to 20lb+ behind his quick ground form
the other 2 have ran to about half a stone behind

its not been easy for the handicappers trendy this year, been poor generally for returns.

but the figures at this meet are extraordinary

I think I'll let Titi win at the price today

If you took out the last run of La Casa Tarifa (blew start as mentioned earlier) it would be a dangerous looking horse at GG.Totally unexposed at distance going up through grades with some previous class experience.

Won at 5f at 2 though and this mix of conditions now is likely to be too much of a test in all probability.

With titi (has a decent stats profile) in race I'm thinking of leaving but it's not a comfortable leave at the price Cry

Morning suit and Poet's Society are my early picks for tomorrow.  Non runners could hurt though
By:

When: 02 Aug 17 15:42
Had morning suit down for this trip for some time Dibdob

ground an unwelcome ??

think we spoke of that salisbury run seemed to be struggling against the ground

on recent evidence this trip looks highly likely to suit now though.
