You couldn't discount 1m6f this season at some point, looked like getting swamped last run after being near the pace and then stayed on again.

I think could do with a bit of a drop now but is bound to run its race in races like today's so not likely to happen.

Quite soon after the hard race it had at Haydock last week and you wouldn't think the sharp track at Mus would suit either.

Obviously could be some winners rest of the day and particularly later this evening but I'm not too enthused at prices.

That looks a very difficult race. CC impressed last time, but any of a number could win.

Will have another look tomorrow, I'm sure there is a decent hcp for Bear valley over this sort of trip but I can't see it being with SDS on the other, Perhaps CC is  thought to be improving fast.

Would nearly always prefer a horse that has put in a recent run like that in the grade than one trying to jump a couple of grades into a 2.

But just looking at very unexposed horses runs wise ( 4 or less) doing this hcp jump winning lto, from a very small sample figs are actually 3-7. I knew You don't see the jump successful too often with 3yo's but discounting the most unexposed ones actually isn't a sound idea looking at the limited evidence.

I actually loathe saturday's, Not enough time to look at everything properly, pretty horrendous.

And see my chum Highly Sprung is out tomorrow evening after that awful Bath effort. This is one horse that should sluice up soon and is now weighted such that 2 wins should be possible, all wins on fast ground (so not an issue last time). Will probably have to follow this one a few times.

You are right with the logic about bumping into 1 now, but if MJ's runner is less exposed under the conditions listed then He's as good as anyone at placing them in the class 2's.
