£58.05 profit to a £1 level stake of the horses since February the 11th

Obviously the staking wasn't the same on all of them - but you get the drift.

Black Country Boy Southwell 5-10

Some well breds in this Southwell bumper, But as the Black Sam Bellamy's have served me so well recently, will hope this one continues the trend. Presently 14's with most but 20 with the tragic sign.

Cheers lads.

Here is the belated write up

Kaysersberg

He just looks to be on a nice mark to me.

He ran a nice 4th on his seasonal debut behind Brother Tedd, Silv Conti et al over a trip sharp of his best (21f). The handicapper dropped him 2lb, Harry Bannister takes over to claim 3lb, so he's effectively down to his last winning mark.

He should find things a lot easier dropped in class running against lower rated animals - the horse is a beast - he's won 3 of his last 4 runs in class 3 handicap hurdles, this is his level.

From what I can see, there aren't any other front runners, so he should be able to dominate from the front. Therefore, I would expect his price to drop in running from the get go.

Albahar in the 3.05 at Plumpton - top price 6/1

This feels a little too good to be true.

We saw him win on the AW, just 11 days ago, off 78. He's only had one start in a handicap over hurdles at Kempton - really decent looking class 4 too. He travelled really well in the race, jumped nicely too. I just don't think he goes on the soft ground, or at least, he doesn't see out the trip on it. The handicapper has dropped him another 5lb, so he's down to just 105 now.

Tomorrow it really looks like the ground will be better, it was soft, good to soft in places when they checked this morning, but another dry day, and hopefully it will be good to soft, soft in places at worst.

As with Coolking the other day, and King Uther today, the stable are really hitting their stride now. I hope to see a different horse tomorrow.

just need the ground to dry out and must have a good chance,be disappointing if he's outside the places unless it's soft.

been running well on the aw and that sunblazer form now looks rock solid.

good luck bud.

Mont Ras 4.00 Wolv

Has been very consistent recently (2223 beaten just over a total of 4 lengths) at this sort of level. Some very useful form 2-3 years ago, and recently moved from D O'Meara to DM Loughnane who has his string in fine form. Ran another solid race on debut for new stable, not smartest away and a wider passage than ideal. Would like to see him break well this time from the 1 box and lead like he has done in the past.

It looks reasonably likely he will run his race again, in what is a hot enough looking affair. Hopefully looking at a double figure working man's price.

Ryan.

Good to see you posting again.  Hope you are keeping well.  I too recall the great analysis posted on the original meepoor thread years ago. I recall backing one of Pipes ( the name escapes me ) that you had put up at 25/1 in a summer handicap race that he liked to win.  It started about 10/1 and led all of the way.  Great times.

Great to see you can still spot the value.  Top man.

I'm thinking Raslan? Won the 18k handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot back in August 2010 - ended up at an SP of 15/2, but then I'm not sure if it really was 25/1, I've got 16/1 in my head.

Ring any bells?

Might of been August 2009, won the same race at 12/1 - probably was 25/1 then - would make a bit more sense.

One of your big summer jumps winners that has always stuck in my head Ryan - think it was 40s or 50s was Strong Coffee. Think half the forum was on it. Probably around that time.
