Nice winners on here today lads - thanks for all your thoughts and efforts, all posts are much appreciated. Your stretch of beginners luck is still holding up Ryan - an outrageously long stretch - but no one's complaining ...

will take a chance on ERICHT in the 4.45 at kempton, dropped to a nice mark and possibly the easiest race he as contested for a while and the better ground should help.
was 10-1 but still around 8s. best of luck everyone tomorrow. |

No guesses for the big race then?
I will kick us off My main fancy is Theatre Guide in the 3.35 at Kempton - 9/1 with a few firms now He's sitting on a really nice mark at the moment, and his last two efforts look solid. The round of jumping he put in the Hennessy was one of the worst you will ever see. He almost fell at the first, and that set the standard for the rest of the race. He jumped lot better in the Cotswald chase, but faced an impossible task at the weights against Smad Place & Many Clouds, who are both rated 25lb+ superior. He finally gets some decent ground today, and the Tizzard stable could not be in better health (24% February vs 11% December & 14% January). Tizzard has even said this horse has been getting closer to Cue Card in his work, than he's ever seen - so maybe people will think twice about backing CC for the Gold Cup Laughing or they will give Theatre Guide a bash today. I will have some on Champagne West too, easily a danger on his best form, needs to sort his jumping out though. I do have doubts about him really seeing out 3 miles on the Albert Bartlett evidence, but that was a few years ago now, so he will probably be OK on a sharper track like Kempton. As he is the favourite though, I'm going to wait and see if there are any price boosts. |

Good racing isn't really my forte - I'm like a metaphorical pig of the racing world, I love the dross

yeah, competitive racing = many triers.

Theatre Guide backed last evening. Indeed the Tizzard string is flying, I am very hopeful this one won't be out the frame. I only got 8/1 though.
Now, if he could keep it going for 3 more weeks.... |

SHOTGUN PADDY 2.50 NEWCASTLE
on stats this lad has no chance as in last 10 years no horse has won carrying more than 11 stone but think it has few things going for it similar to born to wins horse yesterday emmas quote "ran a good race in welsh national 16l 3rd in what was unraceble ground it has nice turn around to sweeten him up and as i dont think the courses at aintree or ayr will suit this fellow this is an 850000 pot and this has been the plan for a considerable time. he finished a neck 2nd in the 4 miler at chetleham last year and with davy russell booked a big run looks asssured. ryan i can see ur logic in the 3.35 at kemters but give any chance to roc d.apis @ 20s.............tom george said that brennan (rides cue card) was booked weeks ago to ride theatre guide but were happy to avail of RICHARD JOHNSTON.............i dont understand why dickie isnt riding champagne west his form seems a little weak beating the likes of key to the west but is lightly raced......similar to opening batsman 3 yrs ago |

2.00 kempton ZUBAYR
the adonis the ultimate guessing race i find it hard to phathom why zubayr ist shorter then pilansberg........in an atr interview henderson alluded to nicholls unleashing a machine in this race...........zubayr is 14s here for the triumph while pilansberg is 50s..........zubayr cost 380k while pilansberg cost 100k both horses bought at same time.........on the morning line nicholls said theres nothing between them blah blah but he did say pilansberg is still a colt which to me says while the gelded the other one..............hes 8s here today which im playing as opposed to 14s for the triumph where u mightnt even get a run |
|
By:
I am interested in the nicholls horse too bustino ,looks like the possible "monster could be zubayr" good luck

lads here is the trainers view....Kempton Park 15:35 Theatre Guide This is a tough race and he could run well and still only be sixth or seventh. This better ground will help him today though and he has won around here in the past. I'd be over the moon if he finished in the first three. C.Tizzared

Know a few who have played Roc D'Apsis, Bustino, along the same lines as you.
I saw Deckie's blog though, and he said the owner requested that Tom O'Brien rode - don't think the owner was happy that Deckie picked Village Vic over Champagne West two starts back, and then obviously made a terrible blunder on the horse LTO. Wide open race, I'm pretty narrow minded with who can win, but the two I put forward could easily come no where if they don't jump - then I really have no idea who can win. |

Thanks for that, luckyme.
