Not content with blighting our racing viewing  24/7 Mick has now progressed to Twitter blitzing!

@mickfitzg doesn't bother me on Twitter .... he blocked me ages ago for mentioning his "put £50 on for me" scam.

Is it morally wrong for a person to earn as much as he can by working?

if you asked a 4yo child for his/her's views on cheltenham you would get more out of it than asking him

John Terry - what about organising an online petition to get him off the telly. If you can get 100,000 signatures it has to be debated in parliament! Laugh

It is unrelenting. I was watching Zoe earlier with Tim Carroll and when she said that Robert Cooper was coming on with Mick Fitzgerald it was an immediate switch off. Thankfully I have other things to do.

I have no idea why they keep using him.

Quite correct ,one eyed Belper used to rattle round Brighton and win comfortably.

yeah but I am sure he'd prefer 2 eyes Grin

yes true but this is totally and utterly irrelevant.Nobody disputes Stevie Wonder is a brilliant musician but surely he would prefer it if he could see.

i don't doubt horses can win with one eye, but i'm sure given the choice they'd chose two.
By:

I am sure you are right but the fact remains that they can see sufficiently well to race and win races.

I hear what you say but horses are pack animals and will often 'come again' when something comes along side. A horse, being a prey animal, has about 350 degree vision, a horse with 1 eye has obviously half of that. If a horse comes up on its blind side it can not be viewed thus its pack instinct will not kick in. Therefore i conclude it is an advantage for a thoroughbred race horse to have both its eyes intact!

Leave Fitzy a loan.
He's a fair-minded informed commentator who's done it all at the highest level.

I have often wondered what your forum name was, Mick.
