I think that ATR and others probably make a commitment at the outset,to guarantee pundits 10 or so gigs each month, for which they pay a lucrative retainer.
Unfortunately, should they realise they have made a big mistake they are probably contracted for a full year. The acid test must be approaching,as also in the case of Channel Four Racing, when the powers that be have the opportunity to correct their error and "bin" Fitzgerald. If they don't, their broadcasting licence should be withdrawn forthwith. |
