The problem with doing it the way you suggest STUDYFORM is that you will be limited as to how much you can get on regarding the "second" leg of the "double" due to it not being a popular event betting wise.
I think most people know we aren't actually talking to Paul Haigh homefortea but how else is anyone supposed to address the poster then? What would be better publicity for a bookmaker though, to pay out £75 when they didn't have to or not to pay it out? Surely the positive publicity still outweighs the considerable negative by not doing so? |
|
By:
The disputed amount was around £900.
Paul Haigh approves of my Username and what I do, for the record. |
|
By:
For the benefit of those who think all I do is help chancers get paid on bets they should know better than to place, I think you are missing the point.
The point is that IBAS, who are the industry approved ADS would find in favour of the bookmaker in many of these cases, yet the firms know that a court may well rule that the T&Cs they quote to deny full settlement may well be found to fall foul of contract law. All IBAS do is say "it's in the firm's T&Cs so we rule in their favour", irrespective of whether those T&Cs are fair, or indeed lawful. In my opinion, I am helping punters to understand that the law is in their favour in many cases, whereas IBAS most certainly aren't. I will therefore continue doing what I do, even if if it makes homefortea physically ill, as he has suggested. |

I would keep doing it for that reason only tbh, HFT seems a very sad poster who clearly just wants attention - and the only way of getting it is to make comments as rude/vile as possible imo.. Keep up the good work PHTR |

Assuming he's not just on a wind up then don't be too harsh on homefortea, as he's a right-winger so it's just in their DNA to be like that.
Blaming him would be like blaming the greyhounds for chasing the hare, it's just what they tend to do. |
|
By:
"he's a right-winger so it's just in their DNA to be like that."
So let me get this straight there are people on here that are "socialists" who come on to give their money away.. Settled then. In the meantime anyone with a brain cannot get a bet on with the alleged "bookmakers" who illegally trade details amongst themselves and put tracking devices into your computer so that they can access your betting, bank accounts and feck knows what else... And paul haigh - total respect spends a lifetime defending some half-wit that has placed a bet involving a "push" on a novelty event that was clearly SINGLES ONLY for "The disputed amount was around £900."... The World has certainly gone mad.... |

What's giving money away got to do with any individual being a socialist or not ffs? lol
As for those dubious practices the bookies indulge in homefortea, that's what happens in a largely unregulated free market, something that we've seen with the banks for example and remind me again who champions a free market economy and deregulation and expecting them to responsibly self-regulate? I don't think that's a socialist stance is it? And unless you personally are going to do anything about the beefs you have with bookies, then why dig out anyone else helping others? We know your type are to self-centred to help others (hence my right-winger DNA comment) but you still feel comfortable enough to sneeringly try to denigrate anyone else who does. Did you not get enough cuddles as a kid or something for you to be that bitter towards others? |
|
By:
Perhaps you got too many cuddles as a child (!) Ima in which case there will be a "charity" near you to help you get over it...
Seems like everyone is a victim and you may be top of the list.. Seek help please because you have nothing to offer on here... |

There is not a bookie in the land that would not want to take a win double over a win single.
So on the occasion they get copped, it is embarrassing to see them squirm |
|
By:
well done paul dont listen to the knockers, cant win with some people. I hate this forum sometimes
|
|
By:
Fact remains that the bookies are arbiters of their own rules until IBAS is involved and they "go by the rules". I have yet to see Ibas say that a rule is unenforceable and hence punter wins. How many bets that would be voided if they turn out to be winners stay in bookies pockets because the punter thinks it is a loser.
But despite it all: would you put any bet on with Betwelch.Simple answer; do not go near this firm. (Personally, I think he is trying to recoup the losses he made when he paid out Man Utd as league winners when they ended up losing.) |

I can assure you homefortea I didn't get too many cuddles as a child but typical that you would think that of anyone with a half decent attitude towards others.
Oh and the irony of your last line above is so clearly lost on you when Paul Haigh - Total Respect is doing something helpful and considerate for his fellow punters and receives deserved praise for it from other posters, yet all you can do is bitterly post snide comments and then you come out with the beauty towards me by saying: Seek help please because you have nothing to offer on here. You really couldn't make it up. ![]() You remind me of one of those sad people who gripe about animal lovers who donate their time and money for animals causes, where you respond by saying "Fcuk animals, what about children, why not give your time and money to them?" As if someone can only care about either or, whilst at the same time you probably give and do fcuk all for children yourself. |

How you know anything about my "voluntary" Work really amazes me as I have just landed a job as CEO of a major "charity" that pays £140k per year for two days a week rehoming stray dogs that have suffered excessive abuse in Afghanistan. |
|
By:
And yet if it was true homefortea you'd probably still take the money whilst at the same time claiming the dogs deserved it.

I totally agree on IBAS, not so on Paul Haigh - total respect but please feel free to lead the way homefortit, or are you too busy sniping at others who at the very least are making the effort to do something positive about it?

What's the matter, are you incapable of it or something?
You really couldn't make it up. ![]() |

hft must surely be the most negative, obnoxious poster on here in a deep field moreover.

You would think with all the advice he gives others on here on what they SHOULD be doing with their time, he would take his own advice and do something about what hes preaching for.
Slate PHTR on here for not taking the books to task for not taking bets and trading personal details, yet does nothing himself about the same subjects. Go on HFT - start the crusade........ |
