Due to the word limit I will simply post a screenshot of my profit and loss from yesterday and leave it at that

The journey towards getting to this point, though it has been many up's and down's, has been incredible

1. There is NO "word limit," on this Forum - that being your first 'shoot yourself in the foot' moment.

2. Most strategies, and ideas, work, "Paper Trading" ...

It is when people try to put it into practice with real money - that they suddenly, and invariably, go 'tits up'.

3. We have heard your kind of tripe - time and time again - you will be 'gone tomorrow'.

Best quote I heard was this one

"just keep backing the betfair fav and use the martingale system".

I love the martingale system lovers, I mean its a system that requires wealth, what are they betting in some of these people 10ps and upping to 20p 40p 80p and so on?!?! Laugh

If systems worked everyone would use them, and there would be no bookmakers or online gambling sites ffs.

Martingale in a sense does work, but only for people with a serious betting bank who can sustain 20-30 losses in a row

you never 'make it' or have finally 'made it' as a full time pro.

it is an ever evolving process that needs time and effort to adapt to new strategies and systems.

I am only 22, but have been spending 8-10 hour days formulating various methods and reading market trends etc for around 2 years with the only days off being xmas and my birthday. Unfortunately my university work suffered during this period, but I have been adamant since discovering Betfair that I would do everything in my power to get to this point

That thought process is a mixture of a serious hangover and 4 red bulls, my friend

I completely agree with the second sentence you wrote but I know my current method inside and out and have spent many, many hours in doing so. Saturday marked my 1000th profitable trade in a row so excuse me for treating it as a full-time professional career

I didn't realise a community of people trying to reach the same goals could be so cynical, but hey, I still appreciate all of the serious comments

Hahaha! In order to view the Betfair video (as I'm sure you all know) I quickly put 5 pounds through the market which often results in throwing away a few pennies. Hearing the commentator in the background gives me an idea of when the horses should be about to run so, god forbid, I don't leave anything in-play

If all you want is the commentary then why not click on the `betfair radio` link? for free?

Why throw away your 1000th profitable trade record on getting LV ?Are you insane?Laugh

And I am still learning, didn't know Betfair radio even had race commentary! You just saved me many minutes per day!

Sam, I am not being negative, I wish you well but I find it difficult to comprehend how you can make a profit using BF video. There are many trackside players who have a huge advantage, and even without them your pictures are too far behind to allow for anything that can happen in the last furlong.

If you read my message back, you will see that I am NOT leaving a penny to go in-play. And I agree with you that that is one sure-fire way to lose a lot of money

Big Boss, have you ever thought that maybe someone could be better at reading the market and sticking to their edge than you? Jesus, some of you you guys clearly have a lot of learning to do. But once again thank you to the non-haters, I may consider posting weekly updates from now on
