Funnily enough I think that these firms start out with good intentions but take on staff that are not up to it...

The Senior Management are clueless but talk the talk in order to justify their six figure wages..

They ban anyone with a winning profile despite the fact that their odds are computer adjusted and they should make a profit whoever bets with them...

Hey it has been a time since I was in the game ......Whoops

I cannot recall any Firm who has taken the trouble to put in their T&C's that,"anybody they suspect of Arbing will have their funds seized",HFT.
They are criminals,pure and simple.
I think that they deliberately set out to steal from clientsHappy

No one sets up a Company with the intention to rob everyone...

And then sponsors races next year...

Racingstar if you can get a bet on with the "Sean Graham Organisation" then you are a fool.

Once again Betway are shysters...

They are clueless but have a sportsbook to promote a casino product.

I have dealt with them all.

Name any firm and they all take the rise..

HFT,
I have not had a bet with Sean Grahams for many years (I used to deal with Brian and they were capable of getting on).
You have conclusively proved which of us is the fool.

Instead of flaming each other on here and comparing the sizes of our BF balances to massage our ego's, we all need to alert as many people as possible, be it past, present or potential future account holders with this vile firm.

I am always a believer in Karma, Betway will get their just desserts in time, of that I am certain, once they lose all credibility, not even a substantial advertising campaign will stop the rot.

firms like winner, marthonbet, titanbet ,betway - u will prob get paid and but if u are trying they want DNA from you to slow the whole process down so they keep your cash for longer...

woeful operations and bets can go missing at any moment in your account

I've used Marathonbet bet for 2 years and had no problems at all.

Betway are known to be dodgy. Always best to do some research when opening an account with a new bookmaker.

bookmakersreview dot com and sportsbookreview dot com are 2 reputable sites to start with.

1 Very poor - Assigned to bookmakers which have failed to fulfill their obligations and/or promises in multiple occasions. You do not want to play with bookmakers rated 1.

I have been closed down by the best many times...

YOMOMMA ...

It does not matter what ratings are given to the alleged "Bookmakers"...
I can get on with none and I would wager that there are plenty of others...

You must be a plant and a pretty poor one at that...

Marathonbet are absolute scum and will probably be lucky to last out the year.

I post on many forums  etc under different usernames (because I have the time and am bored when it rains all day and cannot get out) but mark my words I will drive that rancid Company out of existence..

Have a nice day....

Most people on here probably read my other thread, they stole my winnings 4 days after the bet won (11/10 into 4/5 hardly plot of the century) ... Reason... That I once had an account previously (that was not closed and had not had a bet for 2 years on it)

I have recorded chats where an operator has admitted that if the horse got beat they would not have voided!!!

Stuck though, no IBAS and that ECOGRI shambles they hide behind also hid behind the terms.

Only light on horizon is that the Advertising Standards Authority are conversing with me and they may need to add something to small print in ads.

Cheltenham should be ashamed to let them sponsor a showpiece race.

If you go to:

https://secure.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/gccustomweb/PublicRegister/PRSearch.aspx

And type in the company you will find they now have an active licence with the UK Gambling Commission. Remember the alleged reason for the change in licencing was to protect UK customers from rogue offshore operators (the POCT is supposed to just be a byproduct). We have lost sound offshore operators like Pinnacle because of these new laws.

I would urge anyone having issues that contradict 'fairness in gambling' to get in touch with the UK Gambling Commission. If they fail in their duty to promote this the government's whole policy and alleged reason for the new licencing will be in tatters. Complained to MPs and/or the press must follow.

Any bookmaker failing to meet its basic obligations in fairness needs now to be exposed.

"Any bookmaker failing to meet its basic obligations in fairness needs now to be exposed."

That'll be the entire Bookmaking industry then

FAIR - "Without favoritism or Discrimination"

OPEN - "Freely available or accessible / Unrestricted"

I can't think of one Bookmaker that operates in accordance with these regulations Angry

Restricting winning punters is one thing. Taking money from peoples' accounts is another.

Going through the bookmakers licensed it appears that the GC has being giving out licences like confetti the last few weeks. I hope that it does not come back to haunt them.

Disagree, would any reputable firm in this case Cheltenham Racecourse PLC want to be  associated with a rogue outfit, ok that may yet have to be fully proved but if enough mud sticks no firm would want to be seen to be working with a bunch of crooks.
By:

You've answered your own question Pumphol. As you mentioned, nothing untoward has been proven against them so why wouldn't Cheltenham take their cash? I'd hope they wouldn't if anything were to manifest itself later on though.

Taken from cheltenham.co.uk..............

"Our clients are diverse; from JCB to Ryanair, Jewson to Albert Bartlett, Paddy Power to Ladbrokes, Neptune Investment Management to RSA, Irish Times to News International, the range of businesses who reap the benefits of a sponsorship association with Cheltenham is very considerable, and growing."

Doesn't sound to be that they're struggling for sponsorship
