have noticed a few new names popping up on the forum and following on from mayrychains thread on the football forum (forum rules for betfair newbies) thought some may benefit from some guidance from the more established forumites who can show the newcomers the" ropes"so to speak !
understandably some newbies may be a little apprehensive about posting for the 1st time and sharing their wisdom , knowledge, and insight of the game !so here are a few rules to adhere to and which should stand the newbie in good stead for a profitable and enjoyable stint on the betfair forums.....
rule 1. if you are considering putting up a tip ,never ever give any reasoning justifying the merits of the selection ,the forum veterans are busy earning serious money on here and have no time for" waffle " and endless droning on about form ,going, jockeys, trainer form ..blah ,blah blah etc ..............keep it short and sweet ......a simple" this wins end of " will suffice and will be much appreciated by the forum.
rule.2 .if a poster/posters has the termerity to question the feasibility of your selections chance of success ,always retort with insults and expletives!" foydc" is always popular, and always question the offending posters sexuality .
rule 3. its always preferable to use" CAPS LOCK " in fact keep the caps lock button on at all times ,this will make your posts stand out from the crowd and it will give other posters instant insight into the likely chance of success of your selections .
rule.4 if in the unlikely chance that your selection fails to collect always (and this is most important ) always reply with a " greened out for a profit "

make up stories that look interesting; it's always believeable to say your mate just landed a 6 timer or that your just lost on the last leg of the scoop 6, another good one is your mobile phone bet didn't place and you missed out on 6 million but at least betfred gave you some free fobt spins as compensation
