M.J. not that good with his April runners at Epsom. Even following them isn't profitable.
His April 3yo stakes runners (2.50) have yet to field a winner (Elliots World managed a 2nd and did follow that with a win)

You can be forgiven for missing City & Suburban winner - two runners, both aged 4, both distance winners, officially rated within 1 lb of each other - and no clues from Mirror or Express (Virgin knows what I mean).
It's what I record as a Z Z winner (sleeper)

7 runners today was hoping for a few qualifiers when seeing the tracks on entries yesterday but just the one.

4:30 beverley opera fan 3.8 on the proviso its sp is no lower than 3.5

will be interesting to see the strength of this one nearer the off, it is right at the minimum sort of price i'd ever want. i have set the minimum at 3.5 for the thread as the 3000 or so races i've based this on did not yield much profit at these odds.

there will be obviously plenty that win shorter but i'm happy to let them go, if this one were to drift markedly i will still leave it in for the purpose of the thread as i will be looking at the market when i have a big sample to see if it's worth heeding.

M.J has won the 3.00 Bev on five occasions in last 11 races, and has won with a filly twice.
He also won with a once run winner Hacienda (male)
Both filly winners were well raced so I'm avoiding it today.

Have a small fancy for Handwoven but it's a dire race.

wouldn't be the greatest surprise pinza, handwoven.

one thing i did notice was its the shortest turn around its had between races since debut to 2nd outing.

didn't think the draw was great and no trip/class change

am bound to get some of these wrong on balance decided to leave it.

his runner in the 3:00 is just too short for me but does look strong.

Pinza is on about the various ratings systems in those papers and especially if both highlight the same runner (imo)
