You are correct,Now We Know Nothing.
The Forum has always had more than its share of verminous liars. You are keeping up the tradition in appropriate style. For what it is worth,I would not have backed the winner with stolen Pre Off,but did not recommend a Place Lay as you did. |

racingstar you muppet , I have ttt the thread for you

This brutishly chilled Sancerre is tasting better by the minute. Some people are just not prepared to accept that the post was a genuine opinion, shared by plenty but very wrong.
As stated before there are plenty on here who know how I operate and it does not bother me that some of you choose to get nasty and disbelieve the profit angle. Trading is as mentioned a safe approach at best but the reality is that if any event has odds on it there are always at least 2 outcomes. For what its worth I retired at 42 to a large extent due to NH horses I owned and placed successfully, again there are people on here who know this and there is a clue which does not take much working out. These days I am more than happy to nick bits and pieces and don't think that after todays result my opinion will move the market much! |
By:
Please feel free point out any recommendation of a "Trade" in your Op,Now we know nothing.

By:
For Sancerre,read Tap Water.
For retirement at 42,read on the Dole. |

Experimentalist at Fontwell will trade plenty short enough pre race but there is a very decent unexposed horse in the race and will drift before race time. IR it will imvho trade even bigger as it is seriously lazy and if you are not out pre race going green IR should not be difficult. Just put some money up so help yourselves if I am so dumb.
By:
Now We Know,
I have absolutely no problems with a "Trade" recommendation at any time (other than after the race has been run). |
By:
any decent lays today ??
By:
* trades
By:
Thought this forum was all about opinions, the OP put an opinion up on a horse, but sadly got it wrong....not the 1st or the last...
Nothing changes on here....Delta was asked if a horse of the same name would win, he said NO......yet BOOOOOOMMMED it when it won...pot kettle!! |
By:
Layed Princely Hero at an average of 2.54 and some cover trades matched already but knowing his lazy style of running and AP shoving he looks highly likely to trade higher IR. He may well win but this looks an easy trade.
By:
Koi
it is a quagmire of Schadenfreude |
By:
I agree with you Koi, bit its more the fact that the first post the op made after the race was, "I greened up", that's what many of the forum losers say to cover blushes. We all back/lay the wrong horses every day.
By:
* but not bit!
By:
Its what I do every day, every race, every rugby game, out of the cricket already. Look yesterday morning I got the right result in 3 games down under but the early scoring went against me so took a small loss on each game. It cant work all the time but JS was a winning trade.
The beauty of racing is that there are workable fluctuations before the off and some mad swings IR and Princely Hero will probably provide a decent example later. I could have lied and you all would have believed it! |

After timing doesn't go down very well on here

By:
Green before the race, is that ok! few fun backs IR as he is so lazy.
By:
Farmer Frank 2.40 Huntingdon looks worth playing from 4.5. Not badly handicapped on past form but hardly improving at 10 and ridden by an inexperienced claimer.
Horses around him in the market not in much form but this looks highly likely to drift pre race and trade higher IR. |
By:
Not much in the race, but will do well to win, finds hardly anything at the end of its races.
By:
Agreed Koi, not sure I will get too much out pre race as there are no obvious improvers in the race but it has the shape of a well run race which might expose your highlighted weakness. Certainly looked a tame finish going downhill at Sedgefield!
By:
Well that was easier than it could have been. Not sure how it will go but a silly price this morning.
By:
Spot on Koi, wobbled up the run in!
By:
2.10 Worcester Chestnut Ben from a starting point lay of 3.8 looks a decent trade. Cant see much downside in the price as although he is consistent there will be plenty who think the welter weight will be tough to carry. Although he was pretty resolute on Sunday he has finished tamely plenty of times and there do appear to be a few lurking off feather weights.
Would expect to be green prerace as in fairness IR might be tough as he does travel well generally. |
By:
Post ur bet now you know, surely uve had enuff time to edit it, why wud u need to green up when u were so sure he wudnt get the trip in a horse box very strange smells a bit

GB / Worc 10th Sep / 14:10 2m Hcap Chs Chestnut Ben Lay 29700311067 09-Sep-13
19:37 3.8 88.00 3.8 09-Sep-13 19:50 Bits and pieces matched nicely above although price is moving the wrong way atm. Are we happy now? |
By:
A non runner. It must be that 12st 5lb welter weight!
![]() Well done for posting your bet NWK. |
By:
Would have preferred not to post the bet but not a bother. Self cert cut leg non runner, Mercy Rimell always said if you run a horse over fences with more than 12 stone you need a check up from the neck up and I still think he had a huge task on today.
To the previous poster regarding JS I offered an opinion shared by many and the price did drift from 2.6 to 3.9 and achieved green. That's is my roadmap and having lost on plenty of rugby games to 2 late tries, plenty of last flight fallers etc that's the way I work. |
By:
Layed Go On Arch @3.3
Clearly this is a fancied horse today if the money is correct which is probably the case. However, the horse has had problems and even with the time off this does seem vey short with not too much price downside imo. There are some horses with chances and experience. Likely to drift pre race and if not very likely to trade higher IR, we shall see. |
By:
Well the problems have not gone away. Not hugely profitable as cleared some out prerace but ultimately in a competitive race 3.3 looked short never mind the 2.2 it touched.
His problems are well known so where was the back money coming from? |
By:
Lay of Man Of Leisure 3.50 Uttoxeter @ 4.5 looks a decent trade. I don't think this will hold its position in the market as it races off its highest hurdle mark in a race that 6 can win.
He has been in great form but this looks like a decent race not a soft summer racing handicap. Chuck in the 2 fence mishaps and this fellow might just be lacking in confidence. |
By:
Hardly surprised by the drift and this was always likely to be a decent trade. It would be good to get some involvement in this almost unique thread that involves, horses, trading and exchanges. After the abuse I received for the original winning trade a little interaction would be fun.
By:
8 and counting, interesting to se how he runs.
By:
Ran its best race ever so the mark looks too high and fences next again maybe.
Drift was bigger and quicker than expected and there will be more of these summer sequence horses to take on soon. |
By:
I think your "green out" comments may have spurned people away op, however good luck to you and you i/r plays
![]() |
By:
Sadly there too many on here who are sole bent on anger and abuse. I manage to green out on the vast majority of trades and not afraid to take a loss.
I guess if I put up threads about slight jockey error than things would be different. As it stands I will continue to keep putting some money up which I have shown earlier and maybe we can all increase pre race liquidity and maybe even talk some horses for once on here. ![]() |
By:
Good luck lad

By:
Layed Lough Derg Way 4.0 Bangor @4.9 as a starting point. This should drift and looks a decent trade. Struggled off a revised mark and this looks competitive with 5 with a realistic chance.
There looks to be pace in the race so may well drift IR which seems to be the norm with anything in front contracting. |
By:
Another shorty turned over although only mildly profitable as the pre race market went the wrong way. Strange how these summer horses running off higher marks get well punted plus trying 3 miles for the first time.
There will plenty more of this type in stronger races. |
By:
Layed Limegrove @3.6 with scope to drift pre race and very likely IR. He needs a strong pace over this trip and cant believe he wont go bigger IR so has the makings of a good trade even though he can win this contest.
By:
'scope to drift' , 'looks good trade' - nonsensical puff. your lead in angle isnt price orientated at all.
all in all you are a million to one long term. GL with your spike in figures though. |
