what looking at heres another problem you may not have taken on board when you get into say 11 losers the only place you can place your bets is on here .. on here to big money the sharks / bot you can be on the losers /. but the winners you dont get a lot on .. how do they know the winners / from the losers .. form and inside info them to combined will skin the bank of England ... hope that helps ...

It's the prices you get for your selections £1000 Bankroll, 1% Advantage Bets won = 5,213,026,190 (50.4999%) Bets lost = 5,109,817,544 (49.5001%) Player achieved £1,000,000 first = 74,818 (99.0285%) Player went bust first = 734 (0.9715%) Average number of bets to reach £1,000,000 = 137,208 (285.8 days at 8 hours per day, 60 bets per hour) I'd advise anyone to review their bets and if they consistently beat bfsp they should be confident of success. |

this value nonsense is just that nonsense eg your last 100 bets you beat the price by say 2 points .. but they all lost ok you only had say FUN bets say £2 a bet your still £200 down and thats a FACT .But you got the value ..dullshit a 2/1 winner pays more than a 9/4 loser |

I'm not sure what you mean. All of the selections in my stats are for horses priced 3/1 or over. It so happens that this category, coincidentally, is the price range that I'm the most profitable. |

WFT thanks, I was assuming (obviously wrongly that you were using just one horse and wondering where that choice came from. But looking at the numbers of horses, clearly I was wrong. Anyway, trying to stay away from this sort of thing as I am also from dutching, having enough of a challenge finding ANYTHING for the frame !! Thanks anyway Pete

The paradox

There seems to be an assumption here that the OP can always bet as much as he wants. That isn't the case. After a string of losses he may want to bet £1000. There may not be £1000 in the market, or if there is, it won't all be at the best price.

coupe de ville 1.45 newb deacon blues 2.20 newb countrywide flame 2.40 mr we will be laying for £100 in the martingale system good luck if you get involved this was his last three selections of his lay thread last year, it ended in tears with three winners and a loss. i wish him all the best with this one. just to bring a bit of reality in, all his original selections lost or didnt meet the criteria a few days ago, he came back with a couple at night and got a winner, albeit the price was a bit dubious. if it had lost followed by one or two others, his bank was bust. the nonsense about giving account details by posting bets is bull as he well knows. will find his final post on the lay thread and maybe he can comment on it when he returns. |

It's a shame really because the OP's total selections show a profit of approx 33 points after commission, indeed even backed to place after commission they show a profit of just over 11 points. Whether it be by luck, but hopefully study, it shows the OP is more than capable of making profitable selections (though it has only been six days so far of course). Would be more accepted if the selections were just posted without reference to Martingale, but then the thread would not receive the attention the OP craves from the forum. |

this price stipulation cant be that difficult surely,since hes picking horses at 10/15 mins intervals & only knows whether his previous selection has won or lost shortly before the next race its easy to monitor if said horse was higher than 3/1 in that short window.The claim last week that hed got 9/2 about a horse that was always shorter than 3/1 in the minutes before the race just because he needed to show a winner was clearly bull****.
