No joke. going tomorrow in every bookie in my city and smashing every fobt and tv i can where I have lost serious cash. What's the odds of me doing £80,000 + of damage before being nicked tomorrow??

Seriously though I am from Norwich. Since 2002 my life has been on a downward spiral I am the shadow of the man I used to be. I know I am a loser playing these I know mathematics backwards but thats addiction for you. I am sick and tired of it there are lots of people in the same position as me been screwed over by these pieces of filth. Difference is I am not going to let these people f**k people over and get away with it. I am serious about tomorrow I won't harm nobody but I am sending out a message if that means a 1 year in click then thats the price I am willing to pay.

No attention seeking. I am seriously at the end of my tether my life is messed up. I know I am partly to blame but for some people including myself it is an living nightmare playing fobts. I feel like I am living in an open prison going past bookmakers and trying to keep out. I have been months without playing then one mistake and I am living on the breadline or worse. All this and the bookmakers have these free compos to get more fresh blood to play. This is how my addiction started I never asked or dreamed my life would turn this way. Everyone just sits back and let these companies destroy our communities, families etc. No one has got any b*llocks anymore just let parasites do what they want. No more for me in a few years your city centre will be third world style due to parasitic companiess i.e bookmakers,payday loan companies etc screwing you over. Then you'll wish these machines were never invented.

Calm down mate. Don't smash anything up. It won't hurt the people responsible for bringing the machines in and some poor fella will have to clear up the mess. You'll probably scare the life out of whoever is working in there too.
Have a google for gamblers anonymous if you think you've got a problem mate. The best way you can hurt them is to stop giving them your money and telling people your story so they don't either. |

Done the GA thing felt like I was talking in a different language bit old-skool. I self excluded but still was allowed to play which defeated the object. Ask anyone who works in a bookies it is all rubbish if you have serious money and a gambling problem you are welcomed in with open arms. Got to keep the turnover up hey. I have the odd bet on here no problem win/lose it is ok. But these things have robbed me of everything I have and I will never be the same even if I stopped now. I rather go for the smash fobts approach year inside and be banned for life (and it will be taken seriously) from any gambling establishment.

I have enormous sympathy for anyone who has been taken in by these machines. Don't go in bookies much nowadays but the amount of times i've seen people obviously losing money they can't afford to, it makes me sad and angry at the same time. Sad for the individual and for the countless family members affected and mad at the fact that the big wigs in these bookmaking organisations KNOW they are ruining peoples lives and turn a blind eye to it in the name of profit.
I wish the op well and anyone who is addicted to these horrible things. |
