Here we go again: three fences in and more than half the field wiped out.   Still, at least we made a small profit today after four fallers and a no-show.   Among the fallers was the illustrious three-star Knight Commander, silver winner last time out. Hard luck guys.

No one too adventurous today. Layer of the day charliepotheen didn't give Shadow Spirit  a ghost of a chance at 3.85.   Nearest to that was pleasedontgetinjuredclanroyal in the last, knowing Rock Canyon  would be engulfed at 4.46.

Four fallers and a non-runner make for another rather dismal day. Down virtually to a quarter of the field after the fourth. Hard luck guys.

Still a lot of big names left though and even skinto, beating his 3-fence bogey for once. And everyone very cautious, so the best score came from unluckyStu's choice of Groundworker, which certainly worked at 6.63.
