Ok update this for November - a loss on the month and a severe shortage of winners - couldn't really say I was way of the mark because there was actually a profit betting all Novemebers to BSP place only - as usual with the prices involved here one or two falling the right way would have made all the difference.
There were 111 selections - 5 winners - 33 placed. 14 were matched around evens or lower and didn't go on to win. Some of the near misses were 110.61(12.50) - 34.54(2.50) - 23.31(1.70) - 25.00(2.40) - 46.16(6.00) - 40.20(1.32) - 48.80(4.00) - 18.50(1.17) - 32.00(1.70) - 16.40(1.03). I've been recording my bets in some new software which is excellent - it's at Horse Racing System Checker.Co.Uk and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested. Going to run a mini system this month - I did this in September and October on here - worked on one for last month and decided against it - ended up being 73 points in profit which I would have done to 1/2 points e/way - since my overall portfolio showed a slight loss last month it certainly wasn't a great decision - see how this months goes.

Finally a word on the maiden filly Songbird Blues that I have an interest in - suppose the general consensus is she will come on for the run - I'll be having a couple of quid on her each-way just in case she does pop up.
Bit of a catch 22 where you would like to see her run well but not enough to have a big effect on her price next time - be interesting to see how she goes anyway. Sam |

Cheers lads - thought Songbird traveled well enough to a point and isn't totally without hope for the future - handicapper should drop her a couple of pounds considering she's went from a mark of 48 to 58 without winning a race - at least I had the winner to double stakes although i did have an extra few quid on the filly because of the price on here.
