Cheers - been a wee while since I've had one of my days - for some reason known only to the big man upstairs I didn't do a Lucky 15 on today's selections - hopes for a really good day rest on a smallish stake e/way BSP accum and the ironically named Havin A Good Time - which is one of this months system bets and not one of my own(if you know what I mean) - to lay or not to lay that is the question.

Well done mate I'm chuffed for you - it's hard life when I get it right but still get it wrong myself on the multi front - nonetheless still a good day for me.
Madhatters the tide goes out and the tide comes in - just the way it is - although sometimes it's like standing on Southport Beach  I have noticed the amount of views I get here on a daily basis depends on how well things are going although it's getting to be a much overused cliche - long term and value really do matter if you want to make it pay. There's one system that my son has come up with that guarantees a profit i.e the next time you have a winner will you put something on it for me  Suppose this is a good a time as any to say a couple of things. Firstly hopefully without getting to sickly or giving it a lot of good work for charity if you have made a few quid from this over the last year or so it would be nice if you could maybe make up a mini hamper up for a pensioner near you that lives alone for Xmas - wouldn't take much - a couple of buy one get one free and give them the free one - if you're feeling generous you can always PM me - Peroni - Chanmpagne - Equis Ice cream and a new laptop wouldn't go amiss  On a personal note - since Betfair - the Racing Post or any other publication for that matter haven't been in touch from January 2013 you will have to register on a website I'm setting up to get selections - this will include a couple of profitable systems I have ran elsewhere for the last couple of years too - will be free for January and not that much after that. Since I've basically done this free over the last couple of years maybe it's only fair that I'm doing this - even if it's just to cover the software I have to pay for and something for the amount of time and effort I put in. Next one is a bigger bet for me - I've put this up the last couple of times - without going into too much detail gets blinkers on today which can have a positive effect for the trainer - sire - dam sire.
There might be a question mark about the trip but the dam sire has produced winners at this trip and further. Previous runs not quite as bad as they look on paper - dropped 3lbs to a mark of 49 - has shown enough to suggest it has a race in it from this sort of mark although the blinkers will have to have a positive effect - 33/1 looks too big and worth chancing to bigger stakes at the price. Friday - Manuka would probably have won with a clear and would have given a profit on the day 2nd 6/1 -3.63 Saturday - again Grandisar might have won with a better run 2nd 13/2 - Purcells Bridge 10/1 ran out and would have been placed at least but for that. -5.25 Sunday - Joshua Tree finished 9th - not seen the race so cant comment on that - the last two added today were basically as cover for the bigger bet - were a waste of time and money and the stakes there would have been better deployed in a place only double with Midnight Bahia 3rd 12/1 and Idol Deputy 1st 11/1 - Barnacle 33/1 eventually went off at 16/1 and finished a never nearer 7th - wasn't exactly given an overly vigorous ride - first run for nearly 8 weeks and again did show some kind of ability albeit at a very lowly level - maybe next time. +4.62 Dec Overall +34.13 advised stakes/prices +30.69 1 point win BSP -7.03(s) Sam |
