Yeah Facts, on his day, a very smart horse, and I was very happy with that the other day from him. I think he might just get in, and I can’t see him being anywhere near that price. Been betting him fairly regularly the last year and a half, and I think this is ideal for him.

Morning All .... Woken up to a frost on the south coast
 Like three of those GI,and one that Fab has put up. Great to see Kelso getting some coverage GI ..... gd/soft fair ? Quite a few "notebook jobs" running today,always find these days tricky. Any general views on the Festival this far out ? Not quite doing it for me at the moment,hopefully that will change in the next week or so. |

I'd say g/s is fair but it's been dry for a while, sun is coming out with a small breeze, so chance it might get better. Yes, great day for the course, as good a line up as I have seen, some nice sorts and the Morebattle looks great as a handicap now. Perfectly acceptable fare for ITV I'd say! Annoyed I'm not there to be honest. Festival: I know what you mean, not overly excited yet and I think a big part of that for me is I only have a couple of antipost bets that I'm excited about, normally I have a good bunch. Only placed 4 this year. Like you say, maybe as we get closer and some bets appear it will change. Got the week off, so all good in these sh!tty times. gl today |

Yes Sint ..... Do remember some decent ante-post shouts from you,fingers crossed this year.
Been there with the family scenario,the longest break was a couple of years when they were really small. I still dabbled at the festivals,without much success I may add.Thats something I did take from it,anything less than full commitment,this sport will quickly find out any flaws. Ante-post is an intriguing one,my biggest concern is whether this does affect that final decision making come race day.The field sizes in the handicaps do make them ultra competitive,the Yang side of that would be the really strong markets throughout the 4 days. Certainly will be strange without the crowd,some of my fondest memories are coming over cleeve hill seeing the course on the Tuesday morning,every time it set the pulse racing,truly majical feeling. Week off GI is good .....need the one after to recover  |
