We're similar. Loads of Sprinter Sacre (94) and a sprinkling of Sanctuaire (20). Loads of Sir Des Champs (79) and plenty of Flemenstar too (49).

Calgary Bay winning today would be nice.

Decent day, very heavy on Sprinter (in 90% of lines), and OScars Well was good too.  Evenly split on Flemenstar and Sir Des, also a few Rubi Lights kicking around in my better scoring lines though...might back bog warrior just in case!

Sprinter Sacre good result but he's hardly going to be a differentiating horse. Sir Des Champs would be the better result tomorrow, but Flemenstar would be good too.

Also, nice to hear we'll soon be seeing Simonsig on the track.

The International Hurdle at Cheltenham could shake things up a bit. We are well represented with Zarkandar (54), Grandouet (21), Darlan (15) & Rock On Ruby (10). Looking at our current best lists, despite weight of numbers favouring the former two, the latter two might be better results. But who knows at this stage, it's just good to keep ticking over with winners.

Well in contention then. Got anything in there running in the International Hurdle too?

Good chances then. I really like Grandouet and Zarkandar had a good run first time.

Your exposure is to Rock on Ruby and Darlan then (though I see Darlan is ante-post favourite for the Ladbroke, and not sure what the plans are for him).

Henderson just mentioned Darlan would probably wait for Christmas Hurdle.

you still can't see other peoples selections in their teams.

Yeah, not seeing the leaders' entries is a spoiler. By my calculations the top list must have 9 scoring horses inclusing the two bonus races. Which probably means I'm close to toast unless one of my star horses lands a big priced win. (Oh, that was a cunning plan...)

The ill fated go native has pretty much put an end to the small  chance i had. Such a shame I think he'd of took some beating in the Christmas hurdle. Connections must of been distraught. Noel ain't had much luck with his good ones over the past few years :(

REM too rarly to think like that. If they have 9 scorers now, there are any number of horses they don't have who could come out and win the other bonus races, and others Grade 1s etc. For example, with 9 scorers already, chances are they won't be able to double up on the King George winner and International Hurdle (unless Al Ferof takes the KG too), so plenty of opportunity to catch up.

I know I'm not done for yet. There are always surprises in store. I do get the feeling that holes are beginning to appear in my lists.
By:

When: 11 Dec 12 20:07
I'm happy, as I've got some good combinations of non-scoring horses alongside those who have scored well already(though not enough to put us in contention yet). Only a few weeks gone yet so very much all to play for. For example, one of our leading lists could benefit significantly from Walkon winning at the weekend, and he was very much a horse we only considered very lightly as a potential Paddy Power winner.

Next two bonus races (Saturday and KG) I think will be critical. Got to think that you need to have at least 4 out of the first 5 bonus races to be in contention.  My best list is on 218, with a couple just over 200 but all have Grandouet for Saturday.

One thing that was a setback to us however, was Silviniaco Conti. We had him down very much as a King george horse, so were gutted to see him effectively retired until the Gold Cup after his win in the Betfair Chase. That, plus the demise of Grands Crus in the Paddy Power was not the greatest of starts.

Not a bad start for me I think, got 4 lines with over 180 points.

My top line on 209, but more interested in the second on 198 and third on 185...they both have the two bonus winners so far, and one has ROR and one has Grandouet for this weekend...Zarkandar one of my most selected horses but nowhere near the top lines!

Seems that Fingal Bay is out for the season. 23rd most popular. Fortunately left the novices out completely (although not if Dynaste of Captain Conan mop up).

Any news on Grand Crus?

Despite not being sure about the removal of the monthlies in the first instance, I actually like this mini games idea. Feels you have a chance all the time, looking at my main game lists I would have no chance of winning a monthly even this early. Might not be saying the same by close of play today mindBlush

Thrown in three lists for the mini-league for some fun, altough I sort of object on principle.

Hoping for RoRuby to win today, as he's in my best list (with OW), but also have Zarkandar in as many, although no Grandouet.

Good luck people.

Grade One-winning chaser Silviniaco Conti will make his next appearance in the Betfair Denman Chase at Newbury on February 9.

Having already won the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby and eclipsed Long Run in the Betfair Chase at Haydock, trainer Paul Nicholls has hopes he will develop into a big Cheltenham Gold Cup contender.

Nicholls said in his Betfair column: "Talking of Silviniaco Conti, next stop for him is the Betfair Denman Chase at Newbury in February.

"His owners Jared (Sullivan) and Chris (Giles) seem to like winning valuable Betfair-sponsored races - Silviniaco won the Betfair Chase obviously, and Zarkandar won the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury last year - and for racegoers at Newbury I hope to be able to arrange a bonus.
