Big day tomorrow for my best stable (already Al Ferof and Hurricane Fly scored) with SC, Oscar W. and FR running ! Great start if thay all come in! |
By:
5 runners 5 winners

FR?

Many will have been disappointed to hear that Silviniaco Conti definitely misses the King George and could well go straight to Cheltenham.
By:
where's Ten, conspicuous by his absence. Must be working out another twenty groups around the Hennessey
By:
4 out of 5, but i was happy with that.
By:
Oscarlooked good today. Disappointed Finians Rainbow didn't put up a better showing. Silviniaco Conti continues on the upward curve, but sounds like a bit of a shame we might not see him again til Cheltenham.

Today's update hasn't given Captain Chris any points
By:
and curiously his colours are wrong.

The TTF Facebook page has this message about Captain Chris:
Captain Chris. Apologies to those who have Captain Chris as a selection. The points from his win today have not yet been allocated. This will be corrected as soon as possible. |

24 Nov 12 14:54 5 runners 5 winners No Finian's Rainbow, no long run, no giant bolster? Thought I'd done ok with a couple of winners. |
By:
he had FR in

duffy
he had FR in and Long Run too. Just seen the post. Must have misubderstood what 5 runners, 5 winners meant. Can we please stop taling in intitals, it is become like bloody work here. Have to spend half the time trying to work out what all the acronyms mean! |

I'm getting suzi and sisyphus mixed up here

Last day for entries tomorrow - going to stick a couple of Hennessy focused lists in to see if I can get into the top 20,000 after a poor effort with the pre Paddy Power lists

Pleasant surprise to see Forpadydeplasterer winning today, as I didn't even know he was running.
Takes a stable on to 91.7 pts with Cinders and Ashes, Big Buck's & Bobs Worth going this weekend. |
By:
Nice to see Paddy notch a win. Lovely sort. Should be a decent weekend Joci
By:
I'm never too optimistic, as have been disappointed loads of times when expecting big things.
By:
True - racing can do that to you repeatedly. Good luck

Only just seen this thread. I've entered just the 1 stable for a bit of fun and had 4 out of 4 winners so far and sitting in 230th place :). Got Dynaste, Big Bucks and The Package running this weekend. Should have 6 out of 6 winners but I can't see The Package making it lucky 7 now with all the weakness around him. Theen again, Al Ferof was just as weak in the run up to the paddy power!

Entered a daft throwaway list of my favourite horses, (ie ones that have won me money) and it is now lying 13th, by far my best list! Mind you bit of a shocking Tote return for ForPady, 1.90 for a 3/1 shot-could be vital come April!
By:
At least you'll have the chance for a nice big winner on the final day of the comp as they said Forpady waould be aimed at the Grand National with a couple of runs before it.
By:
If I'm still anywhere near contention by then I'll be sitting pretty with Oscar Whiskey and double headed in National with Pady & Ballabriggs. It's the hanging on in there for 4 months which could be the tricky bit!
By:
Cheltenham is pretty much make or break for most lists. Having 10 fit horses will be vital.
By:
I've tried to cover a horse for every bonus race, a bit worried though that Al Ferof and Riverside Theatre could both decide to duck the Ryanair chase though, which would leave me with 3 runners in the Gold Cup. I put the Package in my list specifically for the Hennessy/Grand National. After Dynaste's win I'm now laying 107th so quite happy with that for a first ever effort at the comp. Nothing is going to be decided until after Cheltenham though!

By:
why no points for Big Buck's?
cheers |

Points for 2nd & 8th most popular horses. Not many shocks so far, although a few disappointments. The GC looks open at the moment imo. It will be interesting to see how SDC fares in Ire.

Interesting though, a bit different.!

In the old comp, you were asked to find the winner of the tote gold trophy and racing post chase in november

By:
Can you enter those lines in a Bald Freds shop anyone know?
Will give you all a clue that Bradley wins the Welsh National ;) |
By:
Is the list of horses the same as the main comp....there wouldn't even be any possible tolworth horses listed would there
![]() |
By:
Looks to be the same list of horses, can't find anything saying any different...
By:
Also, emailed them, there are likely to be 2 games - 1 for Winter and 1 for Cheltenham
By:
Is it possible to see the details of the leading stables?

A couple of hot races this weekend. The Tingle Creek is my favourite race in the calendar and I'm 100% Sprinter Sacre and 0% Sanctuaire in my lists. 4th v 7th most popular in Ire on Sunday too. Feels like the jumps has started proper and the points are under way as well. Terrific.
