Heartfelt congrats Bobby. You are a true gent on here (or are you one of the lushes ladies we saw on TV, or Willie)? Seriously though, fantastic stuff and thanks once again for being so straight with everyone. I thought you were wrong to go for the GC, but it was I who was wrong. I bow to your knowledge and inteligence and maybe one day, I will buy you the tipple of your choice. Again, well done, what a horse. :)

An absolutely stunning performance from Horse, Jockey, Stable staff and Owners alike.
They all derserve all the praise and credit which can possibly be heaped upon them I will single out Bobby from a punting point of veiw, who was constant in his updates to the wellbeing of his horse and encouraged many who may have read the thread to get involved. A special day for all concerned and one that will live with them forever. Their hero is now an Immortal and fair paly to them. Now where are those Imperial Commander scarfs when you want them :D |

When you trawl through the various posts and threads on this forum you are left mainly scratching and shaking your head in disbelief at the amount of tripe and nonsense which is posted..........Suddenly you come across a thread like this and marvel at what this area is actually capable of. A truely remarkable thread full of intelligent debate and some serious contribution from several posters. Well done to all concerned and I only wish I had stumbled across this earlier. Still at least I have identified who to look out for in the future. Great work and sincere congratulatons to Bobby Dazzler.

You still should have skipped the KG, He was never stopping in the Ryanair and some of us new he would stay. He is a real Cheltenham specialist. In fact one of the biggest Cheltenham specialists to win this race. Well done Bobby. Well done IC.

It was a lovely race to watch. You're always full of trepidation when the big day arrives for your ante post punt. After they jumped the first two you could see the horse was up for it. watching Paddy keeping tabs on Denman became a joy. He was always comfortable and the writing was on the wall three out.He jumped like a dream, was always in the right position and stayed on like a real champ. It was a good Gold Cup.

Well Bobby,Hope horse is well this morning and that heads are not to sore in the dazzler household.
A truely spellbinding performance from a marvelous horse.I think he showed what many of us thought he may be capable of and he has secured himself a chair at the finest table this equine sport can offer. CHELTENHAM GOLD CUP WINNER Looking forward, Now you have set in stone what his requirements are, may I be as bold as to suggest ; HAYDOCK, LEOPARDSTOWN CHELTENHAM For next seasons targets :D This horse should be 6-4 for the Gold Cup next season but I see they have put him in at 5/1 :p HAPPY DAZE ! Let nobody doubt that IMPERIAL COMMANDER is the real deal and it will take a hell of a horse to beat him given todays circumstances repeating themselves. Well done again. A fantastic story shared with many of us on this thread. Many thanks and good luck in the future. You deserve it. |
|
By:
WOW well done glad I was on what a fantastic horse your fella is

Bobby
Belated congratulations - though, having said that, I guess it may be a day or two before you find the time to sit down and read through this thread - on yesterday's triumph. Have to admit, I backed Denman but having ever since you alerted us all to Imperial Commander's chance in last year's Paddy Power, and then again in the Ryanair, I've followed your wise words on here with great interest. You're a gentleman and, more to the point, your horse is a superstar! Hearty congratulations to you and everyone involved! Grecian2000 |

It must have been quite something to see your fella jump so fluently and run so smoothly, he never looked like he was in any danger of not winning. Hope he's fine and well this morning (maybe better state than you :-) ). Congratulations again and thanks for being so open, as someone said a lot of us on here have become fnas of the horse as a result and were cheering him on.
|
|
By:
He probably has the mother of all hangovers this morning though, id say a good proportion of the purse will have been spent on drink and Anadin!!!
