I heard a top engineer recently applied for the position of maintenance manager at Towcester

And apparently when going for the interview at the track his van broke down on the way there Mischief

Is it wishful thinking that the bends are manned for any fallers to be looked after to prevent the hare being stopped, or would that be too sensible?

I think we should also be worried about raving lunatics with orange dust bombs.  Towcester surely a sitting duck for these crackpots.

Watch every race there fella clear as day
Looking out for hare hitting the button on his mark
Ladbrokes got all sorts betting involved in the start for splits
Clocks track records surly brings type of bets in dispute

Pretty simple if going be hand starting races be honest
Cos no hand or eye going work better start mechanism
I think this will rubble on

Racing Post page has Towcester as 12 Graded races 6.04- 9.20.  Well done on your promotion of the Greyhound Derby.

Possibly case but I was very impressed with Ballymac John's back straight pace.
Shaping up into an epic Derby.

Saturday night thoughts:-

LAUTARO fast but definitely iffy, defeats at 4/7, 8/13, 4/9 (twice), 8/11 etc; opposable with BALLYYMAC JOEY at around 7/2?

FROMPOSTTOPILLAR pinching money at 8/15?

DROOPYS FIDGET

ROMEO COMMAND

BUBBLY APACHE if he leads value at 3/1?

BOMBAY ZERO value at 5/1?

INNFIELD BILLY 10/1 value in an open looking heat?

BUBBLY GIZMO value at 3/1? (BIGUN got a good draw though)

8.45 I’ve no idea whyWHY AYE is as short as 11/10 , is that a tip in itself, what have I missed?

LEIGHAS DREAM for me possibly the most overpriced dog of the night at around 16/1 (each way, forecasts, tricasts?)

SLICK SAKINA looks opposable at 4/6, sooner have both DROOPYS GOOGLE and BALLLYHIMKIN LEO both running for me.

Looking forward to getting some ribbing later!

All the best

I broke my rule and got involved betwise in the this first round.  Lost on Thurs, no play yesterday, watching postie tonight.
No issues at all.  When your dog fluffs the start it is part of the game you just have to swallow ( Rioja Joey ).  When it happens twice you know it;s not your night!  Laugh
Done a four dog acc. tonight for an interest at reasonable prices - Supa Nova   Ninja Kerry ( looks much improved )   Bubbly Gizmo and Whyayeman.
