the top price currently available about those 10 dogs

jaytee jet 66s
good news 66s
peregrine falcon 100s
lenson rambo 50s
burgess popeye 66s
brinkleys king 66s
newinn shadow 66s
designer cee 66s
candlelight fire 100s
kooga klammer 80s

combined they are around 6/1

for you only woody, special price 10/1 for £10-£50 that any of those dogs wins the derby and 5/1 for £20-£100 that any 2 of those makes the final

only problem is you don't have the balls to back up your shiite Laugh

I asked them if they would consider re-siting the 500m boxes 5m or so further away from the bend and therefore the winning line would be 5m nearer the 1st bend

they dismissed this straight away saying that the winning line won't be moved as it HAS to be in the line with the horse race winning line

never heard so much fkin rubbish in my life

No straights
Gallopers need straights
So many good dogs are not going to be able to handle it

Been just watching the 8 dog racing on a Saturday
The dogs are all over the place
Must be the closest to what's going to happen in the derby heats
Something will get out and be gone I'm most heats I'm sure
Meanwhile carnage in behind
By:

When: 07 Feb 17 21:14
yep, and add into the mix an extra round which is great but the 3 runs in a week remains

dogs are gunna be absolutely facked by the end of that, so I can only see a rag winning most years with that format and of course a railsfest
By:
wondersobright
When: 07 Feb 17 21:16
yes I had a look in the other week irish, only confirmed what I thought before which is that it doesn't belong in this country

having said that saturday morning dogs (6 dogs) on ATR with a football and racing preview and general doggy/sports chat is actually not a bad idea tbf

Maybe use the horse photograph machine for the dogs as well
By:

When: 07 Feb 17 22:00
presumably ravage but for 7 horse racing fixtures a year it might be an idea to move it

it would hardly effect the horse races and allow the 500 boxes to be better positioned but hey ho, wash the table cloths in the restaurant first and foremost

Just 7 horse race meetings per year wow that ain't many is it
By:

sorry ravage my mistake, its 10 actually, they gave up 7

but still, 10 horse racing cards v 200 greyhound cards in a year its a no brainer to sort your core product first

Thanks Wonders but maybe had only been looking for huge prices one or two dogs. Reason all those listed coz currently racing and you once said dogs running on winter ground cant win the Derby, ie Candlelight King. Fire may knock your statement into a c*cked hat and other dogs just mentioned for forum users to "weigh in"

I know it sounds contradictory but point was, dogs cant win Derby that run on winter going. I don't want to back all dogs running on winter going, cant I pick and choose my bets?

Looking for Wonders to give me 200/1 apiece Jaytee Jet and Candlelight Fire, sure Lanza would Wink

i thought woody would take you up on it wonders as you are more than fair.2 of his tips are in that list of dogs plus the other 8 aswell.to give him 10/1 for 10 dogs is good when he usually bets 4 for 11/10 combined Excited

Candlelight Fire and Tynwald Baz go head to head again (Monmore tonight) with Fire on a 7-timer. There are currently a lot worse 100/1 shots for the Derby

Don't know what plans Elaine Parker's got for Droopys Cymbals but clocked a scorching 28.36calc 500m Sheffield, Tuesday. If maintaining that level of form, would be a world-beater but cant see him quoted for Derby?

well dont back slow trappers and no wide runners , only back fast staters from trap 1 and 2  from me
By:

Building portfolio (3):

20/1 Bluebird
25/1 Brandy
40/1 Buick

On shortlist: Cymbals, Oscar Whisky and Jaytee Jet

Would consider Woo Hoo and Bonucci (pair taking Monmore Puppy Derby by storm). 80/1 each fair enough in itself but suspect Lister and Childs will have a go with their respective dogs not this year but next

loyalhoncho i dont back wide dogs at tow , have you seen the bend it seems the wide dogs swing wide , it 6 mouths thay have been running 8 dog races on a saturday and only 1 win from trap 8
By:
woodmanchester
When: 10 Mar 17 11:36
A dog will only run as wide as it wants to. The bends are so wide at Towcester it's impossible for a dog to run anywhere near the hare rail, unlike other tracks. Get some good wide dogs in the Derby and sure they'll give a good account. Most dogs this day and age are railers or middle anyway, hence the lop-sided amount of winning wides?
By:
jackboo
When: 10 Mar 17 13:51
yes be carefull if you are backing a wide runner , thay shoud but a market up over all the heats i will have trap 1/2/3 all day. lets say frist 3 points 2nd 2 3rd 1
By:
LoyalHoncho
When: 12 Mar 17 04:01
You might be right Jack.  Only time will tell.  Some dogs will handle the track better than others and it will be interesting to see who does over the first couple of rounds.

Did anything stand out last night in the con kirby that looked like it might suit towester. ?

When: 12 Mar 17 10:19
Who knows what's going to suit Towcester until they go around there, it's a track like we've not seen before so makes it nigh on impossible to play ante pot for me without a look.

I am not sure we will be getting a Droopys Roddick or Clares Rocket from this years comp, i'd say there is a fair chance the dog that'll turn out best from this comp got knocked out last night on his debut.
