Waiting for some very large prices in the Harolds Cross Puppy Derby
By:
Had a look at the Newbridge Memorial Oaks and ignored 11 shorter priced ones and kept faith with 14/1 apiece Old Fort Cracker and Leamaneigh Mags. The pair let me down at Harolds Cross but sticking with them
Droopys Sylvia would have claims at her best but took a fall recently and hasn't looked particularly good since Good luck! |
By:
Mags and Cracker through, looking at 8/1 and 6/1 respectively now
Good competition starting at Shelbourne over 750yds tonight. Could have been interested in Sugar Ray, Native Hut or Sidarian Lisa antepost but phoned Power and nothing doing After missing the break, Sugar Ray came again to nearly beat Romantic Rambo over 687m Wimbo, so this 686m should be fine. Native Hut looks a fine staying prospect to me and Sidarian Lisa is running out of her skin Might do the sp treble Good luck! |
By:
no point, Sugar Ray ain't running
By:
Native Hut looks a fine staying prospect to you?? come on woody tell the truth, who told ya he would be a staying sensation??
By:
25 bags it was up for data other week !
By:
not enough comps over here for me to warrant paying that much, added to the fact he is a bad kenneller
By:
Yes PF, you said but I also had my eye on him
By:
Thought Sugar Ray a non runner but thanks to you, didn't bet
By:
Very small antepost bets left Harolds Cross final tonight Blonde Nipper/Coolavanny List. Newbridge Old Fort Cracker/Leamaneigh Mags still going
By:
Quietly beat hot fav Farloe Blitz on merit. One of the lads told me Quietly at Vue before the competition started but didn't listen. Seems it was a extremely long, drawn out affair to me
Leamaneigh Mags must have a decent chance to make all in the Newbridge final after fastest semi win. Shame couldn't be bothered going Laddies to back her again at 10/1, as thought she had a better chance than my other one Old Fort Cracker, who was only about half the price |
By:
Only just seen 14/1 Leamaneigh Mags won, oi oi!

Don't fancy taking odds on Razldazlnewstalk for the Irish Grand National, so it's 11/2 Castleyons Cofi, 8/1 Liveanddangerous and 33/1 Comets Joe, ew, pour moi
Good luck! |
By:
All 3 did well and through but bigger prices now with Razldazlnewstalk having over 8 lengths in hand of his nearest rival on the clock. Would swop my bets now for 20/1 Stellars Blue and 40/1 Comets Joe, both each-way but the die been cast already
Good luck! |
By:
That should read apart from the dog he beat 7.5 lengths first round, of course
By:
Liking 50/1 Comets Joe, so little each-way top-up. Razl wouldn't be the first 1/3 bet to get turned over, so topped up 10/1 Cofi as well
Good luck! |
By:
Yet another Irish runner lost without a run, Liveanddangerous in the Grand National. At least Castlelyons Cofi in the final but looks even easier than a penalty kick for Razldazlnewstalk
By:
365 got Liveanddangerous down as a runner? Think theyre trying to confuse me. Doesn't take a lot!
![]() |
By:
Razdazl Newstalk won. No surprises there, then
By:
Little bets 11/2 Leamaneigh Mags (Christmas Oaks) and 8/1 Jackal Frampton (Gold Collar), double too paying 57.5/1, bit late bets struck before previous round
Good luck! |
By:
Would be happy enough with Bubbly Zeus or Stop The World in the National Puppy final tonight and see Mags only best price 9/4 for the Christmas Oaks now, but added 14/1 Borna Central just for good measure.
Good sprint early on the card at Shelbourne featuring Jumeirah Hope, Crown Champ and Martinstown Bolt but could be tricky Others quite liking on the programme: Leeview Lady, Bit View Ma, Lemon Miley and Knight Bite Good luck! |
By:
On a recovery mission now with 13/2 Bit View Ma and 8/1 Springwell Watsy in the Christmas Oaks
Other little pops on the card Lemon Pumba and Service Station Good luck! PS Had a feeling Volcano would win the marathon and no shock with Blonde Nipper winning the Gold Collar, both Harolds Cross |
By:
Fingers crossed for Springwell Watsy tonight. Also on the card, think De Real McCoy and Crown Champ have winning opportunities

Cromac Belle wins the Christmas Oaks. All traps seem to come alike to this bitch. Impressive winner from T1 in her semi, she won wearing stripes last night. Just goes to show, greyhounds can offset any draw if leading with a fast start. Watsy slowly away and last trap-rise, finished 3rd
De Real McCoy a bit unlucky. Fast away but couldn't shake clear and bumped run-up, 2nd to worthy winner Jacks Top Gal Crown Champ impressive in the sprint |

Unraced Stake, Clonmel
Don't disagree with the top 5 in the betting. Was going to go for Diego Flight but Power seems to have taken that one out of the betting, so it's 14/1 Piercestown Shay, each-way, for me but suppose anything could happen Good luck! |
By:
Here we go again! Money down the drain without a run with Piercestown Shay. It was the same with a little bet Awaywitdepixies in the Joe Dunne. Cant trainers tell bookies to take their non-runners out of antepost market betting for goodness sake?
By:
3/1 Razldazl Roisin (Clonmel Unraced) and 5/4 Volcano (790yds) looked good before last nights semis. Even more so now!
By:
think they've priced the unraced final at Clonmel all wrong

Riverside Gold was the dog, the 5/1 and 9/2 was absolutely massive.
The dog has been showing stunning early despite not having trapped that well yet and with the other 2 railers in the field not having that much up he has a massive chance to go around again and if doing so he will take all the beating, he doesn't get the last 20 odd yards really but the stronger runners are not guaranteed to get loose. Razldazl Oisin flew out in the semi (his best break yet) but he does take a mid to wide course up and he will have to go some to lead Riverside Gold in my opinion, if he does not lead him around i think he will struggle big time to pick him up. Ballydoyle Honey is a big danger if she can turn in a pitch, with the 4,5 and 6 mid to wide she could turn in a pitch once leading Shaneboy Dubh up but i don't think her price is that appealing. Express Empire is in with a chance too but you really would have to worry about his ground being taken run up by Razldazl Oisin. The other 2 will struggle for me and need to smash. |

Juvenile Classic (Tralee)
Nothing clever saying looks between Sidarian Vega (fast prospect), Farloe Rumble (pacey when in the clear) but at the odds, 8/1 nippy Go Django for me Cork Supersprint Would have gone for Crown Champ but no betting Shelbourne Park gash Saturday night |
By:
That card Saturday night is far from gash

What's good about it? Not looked closely but can only see Burnt Oak v Cromac and Painstown v Karlow. McCoy lost his way

Not looked closely but can only see Burnt Oak v Cromac and Painstown v Karlow. McCoy lost his way I really do despair at times just because the RP or Talkingdogs have not been masturbating over any of the runners does not make it a gash card, maybe you should do the card (I don't mean a 5 minute flick through the IGB site) |
By:
I blocked woody so that I wouldn't have to read that sh1te , suggest you do the same lp;

a 5 minute flick
giving woody more credit than he deserves imvho ![]() |

No idea what RP or Talkingdogs may or may not have said. If I'd planned to go, would have been disappointed anyway. Just hope Limerick is better March 28th

Think Go Django would have qualified but sent crashing to the ground third bend. Statement it's between Sidarian Vega and Farloe Rumble even more pronounced now. Would much prefer Vega to get first run on Rumble and 5/2 not too bad. The each-way choice for me is 14/1 Aguasantas
