With respect Lanza, the Irish might have even had 11/10 and 2/1 shots in the final last year, but think their team will be much, much stronger this time around with the £250,000 prize on offer. Just hope their exceptional Laughil Blake wins for both of us
By:
Stronger or not, if they keep breaking the track record in the first round heats they might as well stay at home.

couple of hopeful derby dog's trialling recently at the don. Few tomorrow also!

did Bubbly Zeus come off sound in his trial today? his time was awful
By:

Zeus trial?? 29.56 beaten 8 1/2L by Bubbly Beauty
By:
yeah was just coming on to mention was some awful trial times today.... off '' normal going'' ????
With a big red next to zeus was disappointed with the 28.50 last week but this makes me feel bit better for the moment atleast. |
By:
some of the sprints ''normal'' also appear on the slow side of things. Maybe 15 spots, 30 for the 480's??
Zeus was slow away 5.05, seems to have found trouble with the other dog in the trial jaytee berlin. |

Wonder who got the 100 Tipp that 365 put up ? A few weeks back ,it didnt last long ..
By:
Maybe not at your 25/1 Lanza but all the 33s gone. Anyway, are you trying to take over my mantle as the prime user on here? Your Derby snippets keep popping up indiscriminately on lots of threads!
![]() ![]() |
By:
lol. my small contributions on what? 2 maybe 3 threads?, im non-league in comparison to you'r goodself woody.
I only bet on maybe 2 dog races per year, so most of my contributions on dogs will be around this race / related to the derby in some way. Its good to get people talking about this race.....even subliminally? It is the dog part of the forum is it not? (horses / holidays have other areas?) ![]() ![]() ![]() The way some of the books are at the moment it doesnt take much to see the prices shorten. If i bet a dog and remove my offers on here for that dog, its like a double wammy effect, the price will sometimes crumble. At the moment, there's still probably only 1, maybe 2 other layers in this market, and its not like we'r holding the prices up between us. A few quid is all thats needed to take something from 33's...skip the 25's and hopefully lay it at 20's as with bearatipp. |

in other words there are thousands of mugs out there like his goodself that make it worthwhile

Oddchecker now have 1st show for the Irish version Lanza. More work for you mate

By:
kerrching...if betfair added that market like the english when the previous year finished (a few days later normally) then i probably would give it a go, but by the time they actually get round to adding the market (like only 2 months before despite several requests) its just not worth it and i get picked off by the better judges.
By:
Lanza, what's all this about talking about the Derby subliminally. You trying to put us all into a trance?!
![]() ![]() |
By:
yes woody exactly.
i think everytime i post from now on....il try to cryptically make it about the derby. ![]() |
By:
Does anyone know news on Razldazl Oisin - last on Saturday finished lame.
By:

By:
Eastmead, Someone said they thought he had picked up a TFL injury. Must stress that's unconfirmed!
By:
Thanks kerrching.

PF Bubbly Zeus is reported "absolutely fine" following trial didn't trap and found trouble. Like you I am a bit anxious.
By:
BRILLIANT ****.com Irish Derby winner Laughil Blake made a very satisfactory return to action when clocking 18.67sec for the 350 yards distance at Shelbourne on Thursday night.
He moved impressively throughout, taking his customary wide route off the final bend but really motoring home. A decision has yet to be taken about his English Derby participation but the Dandelion Bar & Nightclub Easter Cup remains his target. |
By:
he'll be all right until the week of death
if he turns up at all ![]() |
By:
Anyone got any news on lenson sanchez thanks
By:
won't make the Juvenile, aim is still the English Derby (personally cannot have him although he does seem to show more up at Wimbledon than over here)
By:
I ain't anxious about Bubbly Zeus Eastmead (ain't had a bet on the comp), tbh if i was a backer i would have been a lot happier had they left him with his greyhound trainer instead of sending him to a boarding kennels
By:
A week ago I was happy with my portfolio of 4 all at odds of 66/1 or more THEN
1 Razldazl Oisin finished lame at Clonmel. 2 Lenson Sanchez finished lame at Shelbourne. 3 Bubbly Zeus 29.56 at Wimbledon, New Trainer??? 4 Cashen Maureen new trainer (will probably come in season now!!) ![]() ![]() ![]() You can see why bookies will take my money. Think I need some good advice from PF. |

By:
Lanza; can you ask betfair to add Noirs Allen to the derby betting cheers
By:
yes mate, no probs.
By:
Yes the 3 runs certainly sorts them out ,Watched Aeros Qtr Final last night ,the dog is on 3 legs at the drop no wonder he was eliminated when had to run 4 das later..
By:
If Sidarian Vega put in at 33/1 and Go Django 50/1, surely Farloe Rumble cant be a million miles behind them? Possibly too much being made of this Tralee competition after one run or so? If Pf's info is right that Droopys Braeden covered 480m Shelbourne in 27.70 or so, i would be much more taken with that!
