morning irish....

apart from me and the 1.99 guy and maybe one or 2 others, im not sure many layers have entered the market yet? Strange when its such a layers market?  lol.

I did have some fun early on in the market,  took the % to like 60.  Seemed to set off a bot where everything was bet over and over.  Took about 900 before bot gave up.

Suppose putting money away for the whole year can be difficult, expecting it to pick up soon tho? lol.

Things personally didnt go as well as id hoped last year, betting wise in general, hence why im still here.  If im here next yr... things will have gone drastically wrong tho. haha.  Dont think il do the irish derby tho.  CoolLaugh

It really is a difficult getting dogs added this yr tho. Sad

I think the appeal as a layers market is more from a firm's point of view tbh
ie it appeals to lay a few at 50s without having to tie up any cash when on here you normally lay the same dogs at 60+ and have cash tied up for months

you been trading the aus v india series lanza?

hi wonders,  mainly just the runs each innings / few top bats mate, tho that market is alot tighter since the change in number of runners and some more competition there.  There's a bot there currently that drives me crazy at the mo.  lol.

Needed 600 runs this morning for a nice pay out, just needed marsh or the new guy to get closer to 100 this morn and it would have come in / i would have had the chance to lay 600 sub 1.20. Got lucky laying 575 for few hundred 1.11 but built up a massive green 600-625 first day but laying 1.50-1.60ish 600 runs didnt appeal needing 30odd with 5wickets.  had a monkey at 1.20 and 1.12 waiting to level out but never got near those.

id love to be able to lay at books prices win part only Laugh If the books did enhanced win only, that would be great for me. I think the books would be ridiculed into offering better prices!

i set aside a few k each year for this market and lucky  / controlled enough not to dip in, have to move funds about.  I like laying one early, like planet last yr.  Tied up me funds and slowly work on lowering that liability as bets come in.  Last yr i think i took bets on about 280 dogs, i requested a large amount of those.  This yr, i think they got fed up of me last year. lol.

O K so yer man Mullins wins the Coronation Cup with Soviet Kenny
He comes on the box , gets interviewed and is asked "where to next ? the arc or the derby ?"
and he says "Oh the Derby definitely"
24 hours plus later SOVIET KENNY is not in any DERBY LISTS ..........
He is a wide fast starter who would get the 480 no problem .....HELLO !
I am not interested in the 33/1 or 40/1 they will eventually put him in at
I just want to know two things ......
1. Why ain't anyone added him in their lists?
2. Would any trainer in his right mind go for the ARC instead or as well as the Derby at this time of year ?

Think Belle Vue's odds of winning the 2015 Derby have been drastically reduced from impossible to not beyond the realms of possibilty with Cashen Maureen and Metro Jack joining June McCombe, apparently. Reputed £30k for Maureen. Think Oaks only worth £15k. She will have to win an unbelievable amount of races to recoup, unless done gambling her, which you can do without owning anyway. However, good luck to the syndicate connected with the Zoo

cant get on myself with 365. Only been added recently on oddschecker too.  Just asked for him to be added on here given as i thought he'd gone straight in at 50's.  (he's 2 percent for me).

I think 365 have much better limits than most if you can get on.  was offered pennies just now on oisin by boyles / paddies. (I am a flithy arber sometimes tho)

I won't be playing the comp this year, already missed 2 prices I thought where huge and at this stage I can't be bothered with the hassle and frustration of trying to get on, ain't worth it no more. Will still go over for the piss up final night but that'll be my only interest

would probably be shorter than that woody.  Blake alone will be 2/5 shortly LaughLaughCool

If you could see my book and all its losers, its like every irish dog thats listed bar blake (who iv kept and hoping comes) is a large large loser

Wouldn't like to be in your shoes then, Lanza!

Ask yourself, what have the English got? Yolo and Hoffman will surely struggle against the quality and expected army of dogs from across the pond

By:

When: 26 Jan 15 16:04
Maybe woody, but just cuz the irish one's are the only one's being bet at the moment, doesnt give them a right to win it.  Im sure the irish armies that has come over the last few years and left these shores with nothing have been heavily backed in those years.

Look at last years final....11/10 mind the net and 2/1 crokers left with nothing.

Out of interest,  if you owned mind the net, would you get into trouble for laying 55/50k???  in the final out of the possible winnings??  would it be different if ud bet him on here first at 50 or what ever he was first and then laid off?

The only one im kinda worried about at the mo, is pf's irish derby tip lenson sanchez.  (i bet him for that instead of blake) wasnt that impressed with his early and have laid him down the page for this.  A smash in puppy race not all that quick tho and i thought a poor velodrome race and i wasnt that worried, even tho he shortened, but a 28.09 sp 480 def makes me sit up and take note.  Quite a few leading fancies only been doing 28.40-50's there so cant quite understand some of the love being shown for them.  One or 2 others at other irish tracks been bet heavily also and i cant quite follow with those either but il keep quiet on those until i got them more in the book.

If blake win's i buy a few small houses here in the vally and retire!  LaughLaugh
