Easy to envision, but in one or two races in the past when in a good position against maybe lesser lights, the dog did not perform?

So in short we got a brilliant cripple in 1(still fear it),A slow starting dodge in 2(but current form pick),An a1-a2 bitch with early in 3(could cause problems ),an absolute fabulous hound in 5(but not the best box?)A snail in 6(but gotta solo)

Rumours circulated late on Saturday night to the effect that Ballymac Vic could also be an absentee from Saturday’s ETS Irish Derby final but Liam Dowling has assured us that the dog will be taking his place in the final.

Ballymac ran a brave race to qualify in second place behind Cabra Buck and, while he aggravated his toe problem, he will be fine by Saturday night. Liam applied a poultice to the foot following the semi-final and this will hopefully ensure that no infection sets in

Speaking from his Ballymacelligott kennels on Sunday, Liam Dowling said that “he will be able to run on Saturday unless an infection sets in but we should avoid that. His biggest problem will be all the work he has missed as we just won’t have been able to do anything with him for three weeks. But he is in the final and who knows ….”

i said he was a bit of a dodge for a dog that did 29.29 and had 30 outings since and did not come within 59 spots of that time i would doubt him.  i have had some real top dogs myself and some were dodgey mostly d dogs that have to come from behind all the time like ray get a bit dodgey

most greyhound people look at there dogs through rose tinted glasses i think ray is a very fast dog that can win one of d worst derbys finals i can remember in 60yrs and although connections would deny it i would have no doubt he needs to be sweetened up every few runs like most dogs

a 28.30 snail in 6 Plain fack me what are the dogs i own / owned then?? Plain

fack me i think it is time for me to retire from the nuthouse, i'm convinced some on here are injecting themselves with gear, no not the gear that makes the dogs runs faster the gear that has half of the population of Dublin walking around out of their heads.

good luck

Yes Enjoyed the game, Would of been a massive injustice if we had won but I most certainly would not of complained. Only mistake Jimmy has made all year was making Pa Cronin captain has been woeful all season, We surely won't be as bad again in the replay!

I'l meet ya be4 racing next Sat night and you can mark out all the winners for me!!

I just remember someone on here saying there was nothing else going on this weekend and hotels should be easy. All the ones I checked out are booked, except Jurys Inn at Christchurch, which seems to have ramped its prices.
