PJ Fahy yesterday was the bearer of bad news as he reported that Tyrur Sugar Ray is out of the ETS Irish Derby which will commence at Shelbourne this day fortnight. A very disappointed Fahy, who wasn’t exactly satisfied by the state of the track, said that last year’s Derby finalist “sprained a hock in the Champion Stakes at Shelbourne last Saturday and he is out of the Derby”. |

Will they be voided? And since Tyrur Sugar Ray was intended as a Non Runner , see Irishone post off 07 Sep 13 22:42, referring to the post on Talking Dogs dated 25/7/2013 on the Irish Greyhound Board website, will the bets laid on Tyrur Sugar Ray ,at 500, 220, 210, 200 be VOIDED also , |

Feel very sorry for connections of Kereight. With the draw though, couldnt see him clearing Carrowgarriff but Derby try gone now and we will never know. 12/1 Vic my dog this year, after Madison crashed, but lucky he recovered from his injury. Think the race could be his now to break the big-event hoodoo. Pop out, takes Sugar Ray's ground, who will be slowly away and duck inside anyway. Think Carrow go up straight and Vic get inside him at strike rounding first bend. Cabra Buck up there throughout but think Vic can turn the tables on semi form, where he didnt get the smoothest of runs run-up. Dogs really peaking now and think Vic got most improvement in him. Dont think Robert will get up and see Sugar Ray the biggest threat with late rattle but adrift early and hoping Vic beyond recall for very nice profit on the Derby this year. Looking for place money 150/1 Carrow.
Won last night thanks to 13/2 Cabra Buck but Ardfert Thunder let me down for a 6-fold, 3 dogs Shelbourne and 3 dogs Yarmouth. Dont think i've ever seen a luckier winner than Cambushmore |

I'd say they have another week to work on
VIC but he's not the dog of rd 2 or 3 ! 75-85 % fit there no way he take up sugar ray room RAY duck head to rail have solo IMO stick like glue to rail Win the derby !! Not a total balls up with VIC I noticed I had few quid on him With a firm so I get back what I've layed out Antepost wise again Robert as a draw but can he win? he's had plenty of chances he like comas of last year 1-2 rds great rest got rd with draws |
|
By:
thought Vic was disappointing last night, he actually looked like he showed more 2-3 the previous week than he did last night
has a nice draw again but he would want to run a lot better in my opinion |
|
By:
Disagree. Buck flying at present and Vic didnt get a smooth run upto the first bend after him with trying to move off and dogs on his outside crowding. Think in the final, Vic leaves Sugar behind and nice tow off Carrow. Middle gears will more be in evident next week, imo
|
|
By:
watch how close Vic is to Buck last week entering the back and how close he was last night - he was up Buck's ass entering the back last night and never looked like getting to him
why will middle gears be more evident next week??? he was said to be in great form going into last night |
