Stainless Steel could turn up in the 750 yds race, saw him win both nights in Kilcohan and he was impressive going close to the 730yd record the first run. Would be a big step up, but I think he is A1, A2 over 525.

If they can run to their best, think it's a better final than most think. Using the original post as a guide, 3 of the top 10 in the betting have quaified. Add Cabra Buck, running out of skin and fast-early Carrowgariff, could have been a lot worse. Even at the semi stage, thought any of the 12 could qualify and not unhappy how it panned out, although thought some of mine Adler, Melodys and Borna a shade unlucky

I agree with woody obviously the no go of KK is sick ,but if they can get Vic right could be a right old battle between him sugar and buck they are 3 class greyhounds, if you can compare it to the english derby bar the winner there is little difference in class in the race ,if KK was  running there would be no difference imo,all said and done the 5 greyhounds who have made the final have
done on merit ,I could name a few  english derby finals that either vic or sugar would have started favourite for ,saying one of the worse finals ever is not right imo Plain I think its an intriguing race of course dependant on vics foot ,sugar ran a stormer saturday ,and buck has been brilliant ,a good race beckons imo Grin

Carrow great early and slippery a very decent dog that looked like making final due to decent draws .. g luck to them all

Why is Volcano not in the 850y race?? An easy bag that would be for her, yes the 750y race she is in is worth 1,500 but she'd be a penalty kick in the other race Plain

Especially looking forward to the 7.33pm, 525yds with dogs running like Knockglass Billy and Ardfert Thunder. Nice bitche race. Got my eye on a good prospect in the 8.19pm. Yes PF, Volcano could have had easier pickings, coz Marilyn running very well, in contrast White Soks seems off the boil. Splendid Consolation race. Wondering whether to give Bold Three another chance at 9.37pm. If Vic doesnt win, got a feeling my night and trip will rest with Madison in the lucky last

Been quite interesting reading this thread for the last 2 weeks and only putting up a few bets.  Wanted to post but it was so difficult, just enjoyed the reading. Getting excited now, making me last few arrangement to get over tomorrow but books in a complete mess.

only got one winner in vic Sad... dont want buck for a disaster and laying the 500 and 200-ish TSR Laugh would prefer any of the other 2.

Like vic's draw with tsr outside but gutted with the injury.. will probably make him a small loser should any money arrive with the bus from the kingdom?  lol.

really dont want TSR having laid him at some big prices, and i hope he ran his race last week.  He did something similar in the english powering up the back straight in awesome fashion and wasnt the same dog again in the comp.  He's not my biggest loser tho and would smile through gritted teeth him winning over buckSad  Laugh

carrowgarriff - level in the book.  hoping for some help in holding up buck / robert for vic!

kereight king... was another loser but better than TSR + Buck. Unlucky to his backers, would have had another bad draw outside the 3.  Would have been a fav to possibly take-on.

Buck...Laid him on his wimbledon showing and is a big big red and i agree looks a totally different dog from the one that ran there. Hopefully if the money comes for Vic??? and TSR then i can somewhat redden off Sad -Hands up...got him wrong this comp and worried.

Robert - Another loser, one to lay... just runs so far wide for me.

At the moment...im standing with woody shouting for vic, but fearing buck.

wouldnt have minded laying that 9/4.(tho not much matched there)  guess it was very early on when 7/4 was the best you could get on the high street and there was no news that the cut had opened up again?  hills 6/4 still.

Could be off the mark here but Buck reminds me a bit of Cuil Cougar, in as much as, didnt fire English Derby but ran out of his skin beaten a whisker by Puma in the Irish equivalent

Yes woodie Cougar was a really fast dog, saw him in Kilcohan think he did a really fast trial but alas injured in his race and not heard of him since, you will be pleased woodie to hear that 'Vic' has been in the pool this week, could strip in better order, for it. Some doggie experts say its as good as a gallop.
