What would you want to be laying though, it's probably a bit short but with the book going e/w 1,2,3,4,5,6 he's not one i'd want to be laying at big prices. He has made the final of every competition he has entered bar the Easter Cup and Monmore Puppy Derby where he finished 3rd in the semi final. He is a real good competition dog and i wouldn't be surprised to see him in the final, i'd be very disappointed if he doesn't go deep

i'd take CAMAS getting to final over Eske, regardless of prices

CAMAS UNLIKELY TO RACE AGAIN
16/04/2013 Last year’s Irish Derby finalist Camas is unlikely to run again after sustaining a serious injury in a trial last week. Trainer Owen McKenna reports that Camas tore a gracilis muscle in a trial last week. “I was getting him ready for a race at Shelbourne on Saturday night and the owner Larry O’Rourke wanted to go for the English Derby with the dog. Now I doubt if he will ever race again”. Camas, a son of Head Bound and Accelerate, commenced his career by winning the Festival Unraced Stake at Clonmel and he was a finalist in the Red Mills Produce Stakes at the same track. He won the Champion Plate at Shelbourne and also reached this year’s SIS Live Gold Cup final for which he started an evens favourite. |

KEREIGHT JOINS CURTIN – AIMS FOR ENGLISH DERBY
17/04/2013 Kereight King, one of Ireland’s star trackers, has been the subject of a substantial deal and is now being handled by Pat Curtin. Curtin, who recently moved to a splendid new training complex in Enniskerry, has organised a syndicate of four members and they have negotiated the purchase of a half share in the dog with owner/ trainer Aidan Denton. One of the members of the Syndicate is none other than Tony (AP) McCoy, one of the greatest jockeys the National Hunt world has ever seen. He was previously a shareholder in Shelbourne Geoff with Curtin and he reached the quarter final of last year’s Derby. The other members are Curtin himself and Galwaymen Gerry Hughes and Jonathan Newell. The William Hill English Derby is the prime target for the dog which is the second fastest ever over Shelbourne’s 525 yards with a 27.82 run. His style of racing would appear to be tailor made for Wimbledon and he is likely to end up one of the ante-post favourites. Reports suggest that some nice bets have already been struck at 33-1 and 40-1. Curtin plans to have his tonsils removed this week and a quick break will be followed by a few trials around Limerick and then a sprint and 480 around Wimbledon in advance of the classic. In the deal, Curtin also bought a younger half brother to Kereight King from Galbally, Co. Wexford based Denton. Incidentally, Pat Curtin plans to base the dogs in England this time, rather than travelling back and forth and he hopes to have up to three other challengers for the classic. did well to stay out of the news until this week |

didn't look that great at Easter !

By:
hacked up in round 1 showing brilliant early and mental middle before blowing up coming home seen as he was coming back from sicknessGot a horror draw in round 2 and went out, sh|t happens, he couldn't cheat the draw He will need decent draws and to take to the boxes [no doubt the track will be fine] but not many in here could lead him up or pick him up in my opinion |

Farley Semour, a highly talented youngster trained by Barrie Draper, is sadly no longer with us
|
|
By:
He had that bitch other year die
Brave display while in training Very sad |

so far i've done:
Camas @ 225.13 (avg) layed 93.16 (avg) Kereight King @ 61.02 (avg) & 33/1 Homeless Boy @ 143.07 (avg) Priceless Sky @ 60.37 (avg) Jaytee Hellcat @ 100/1 & 80/1 Jolly Bullseye @ 80/1 Teejays Bluehawk @ 50/1 Isabels Boy @ 33/1 Rockchase Bullet @ 1000 so many question marks over a lot of the English trained runners at the top of the market this year in my opinion take away Eske and then you have::Farloe Warhawk - hasn't looked the same dog recently Eden Star - how fit is he, how sound will he stay?? Farloe Tango - nuts Jolly Bullseye - good dog but a Derby winner? has to lead too Lemon Pluto - good dog but not for me Bubbly Phoenix - they ever going to get him right again?? Alien Planet - not for me Farloe Barracuda - will he get home?? Loughteen Blanco - can he bounce back to his best after his rest Golden Wonder - needs golden fkin draws |
|
