Anyone know if Farloe Ironman is still injured or what??
By:
I think he's retired he was at stud following being repaired for a very bad hock break. Can't see a miraculous return

Skate On
HOW MANY WEEKS OUT OF SEASON WOULD SHE BE COME DERBY TIME? |
By:
Eske at around 8/1 must be a bigger LAY than a wadded up bunch of 16 year old schoolboys on their own for the first time in Amsterdam.
Probably similar to Eske 11/10 AP for Eclipse last year when knocked out round 1 at 2/7fav |
By:
Had nt realised the injury was that bad, thanks Swayne
By:
think blanco needs a rest

By:
Very recently, Eden Star ran a very pleasing and fast sub-16sec(calc) 280m trial Sheffield. Heard also, Lemon Pluto moved well in a trial at Yarmouth
By:
You seen that lemon trail
Pf put them up on trainers champ below I'd say it was not great !!! For lemon fans Leap of faith went faster!!! |
By:
diferent owners think differently id be resting him and having a go at the derby with his early pace there will be dommies being spat out around the first bend every round
By:
dummies
By:
think its going to be a "wait until the quarter finals" year again
![]() |
By:
Eden Star has trialled over two bends at Sheffield again, clocking 16.05 on going rated -20, making it a rapid 15.85sec calculated time
By:
as much as I like eden star, very very fast dog on his day, that dog just will not stand 6 races in 5 weeks imo
By:
That is what I thought about Blonde Snapper last year
![]() |
By:
he only just gets the 480
By:
think he has the 480 4 bend world record got it that day

After serious injury, last year's Derby 3rd Coolavanny Bert returns to racing on Sittingbourne's BAGS card tomorrow night. He was a tremendous hound. Let's hope he can return to something like his best. Good luck to him and all concerned
By:
yeah lets hype another one up, make out its got chances, stick a few pennies on it and get it beat
![]() |
By:
Alien Planet, very much below par at Coventry last night and Coolavanny Bert apparently showed early pace but found trouble later in the race

The rivalry has begun already with Paddy Power opposing Barrie Draper's three big shots with three Irish contenders antepost. Power are clear biggest 9/1 Ballymac Eske, 25/1 Farloe Warhawk and 28/1 Eden Star and only go 14/1 Ballymac Vic and 16/1 each of two Roxholme Bully and Camas, all significantly bigger elsewhere. With decent starts, Eske the one they all got to beat, imo but Warhawk didnt do his running in the Juvenile and sure Barrie would tell you the Puppy Derby form a better guide to the difference between the dogs, at their best. As for Eden Star he's had a long battle with injury but few would be near him at his peak. As for the Irish, think Power's faith could be slightly misplaced and wouldnt even be 100% sure they all turn up

was asked for 10k each-way one of those 6 dogs woody last week.
@25/1 |
By:

By:
Sorry mint

By:
split 0325 need any more clues
By:
27.87 with a 3.25 split
Is that any better! |
By:
Yeah, 27.87 Eden, Eske 27.73. Imagine if they were 480m Wimbledon times!
By:
DREAM ON woody.
By:
Just making the point Sheffield a much quicker track than Wimbledon
By:
wouldnt waste my time worrying or getting excited about what times dogs do around sheffield the derbys run at the don
By:
Just shows their well-being Pocket
![]() |
By:
i know that but wouldnt read to much into it wait for the derby trials then u know when a/post bets look good or not
By:
warrior still on his bed resting hope hes keeping well
![]() |
By:
Is that Longwood Warrior Pairs? Fell out at Swindon tonight in Arc Trials Stakes and murdered at the bend. 12/1 Tyrur Williejoe beat Droopys Reason, Farloe Iceman never seen with a chance.
No worries about Eske at Wimbledon Pairs. Whisker off winning Puppy Derby and very impressive Juvenile winner |
By:
Woody hyping up so many dogs!.You can see him putting up "I said it would run well last April" within minutes of the race being over

real lack of wides, any chance of Sparta Maestro coming over???
Bubbly Phoenix has issues price and price never been rock & roll, not on Sawpit Sensation, i like the dog but can be hit and miss 66's and 80's fair value is a keep qualifying type Holdem Spy, bonkers but if takes to Wimb ok and doesn't get DQ'd another hard to knockout 200's 125's 100's ew first 6 total value Mags Gamble 100s not as durable as the above two but another with cat 1 ability too big a price they could all get stripes every round if the entries continue as they are??? |
By:
Sparta Maestro will be back for the 600 that starts in 3 weeks, he is supposed to be still carrying the problem he had pre christmas, doubt he'd travel anyway.
The widest of all the wides over her could travel, McKenna has a few dogs that should be suited to the place and he said the other day he could travel, bloody hope so as i've all the whopper prices on here! |
