if stay thirsty is a non /runner then newlawn tock at 50/1 e/w with PP IS GREAT VALUE..i know hes a better dog from the inside but he has a great chance to quilify now in a 5 dog race.

INJURED THIRSTY OUT OF LADBROKES DERBY 20/08/2012 Robert Gleeson has withdrawn his rapidly improving young tracker Stay Thirsty from the first quarter final of the Ladbrokes Irish Derby to be run a Shelbourne on Saturday. The dog sustained a knock on his wrist last weekend and veterinary advice was to give the dog a break and not to run him next weekend. The son of Royal Impact and Forest Swallow, owned by the Drinking Machines Syndicate, was due to contest the opening heat from trap six. His absence now means that the line-up will be: 1 Razldazl Apollo; 2 Clydal Spirit; 3 Droopys Jet; 4 Razldazl George; 5 Newlawn Tock; 6 Vacant. |

I bet Cabra at 20/1 with fred. on friday, then saw the advert in laddies, so had £50 on her but at 16/1, haven't been back to shop yet to claim as i'm just back from Shelbourne weekend, keep you all posted as to developments though. cheers.

Put E30 on Clydal spirit at 16/1 with PP in the first heat A 5 DOG RACE ..I think hes as good as Raz apollo who is 11/2 in the same race ..but he will need luck at the 1st bend P.F. BUT Tock could CAUSE trouble on the run up so you never know.

He is a She frank, hope she qualifies anyway as took 300s on her before the last round. It's doubtful though as she just didn't have the early after coming away last week and Apollo easily led her to the corner and she has Droopys Jet on her other side. She'd need to smash out and them to miss it at the same time and that's not even mentioning George.

The one the sponsors have cut today frank, thought 9s was massive. 8s is still huge i think, thought he ran a cracker last week despite not getting a great run around the 1st and he should get a great run this week.

Yeah overpriced, looking for him to take off this week. Thought he was unlucky last week in that he didn't break that badly but had big early either side squeezing him up.

Cant see any Ladbrokes betting for first quarter final, probably coz T6 vacant, it is vacant isnt it and the Irish havent promoted something that's already been eliminated, have they? Wouldnt be the first time!
.Anyway, some strange looking odds to my way of thinking. No idea how Crooks can make Ballymac Vic a 2/5 chance with that T1 dog up it's inside and Cuil Cougar so much more than capable on his day. Would even give a shout to 10/1 Airforce Diva with crowding on inside, she's won wearing the striped jacket recently. Oh well, got Vic my biggest winner ante-post, just fingers crossed he qualifies. 5/4 Skywalker Puma looks poor value to me too. Does it the hard way and something may not be for catching, like late ante-post play Sugar Ray. He's just about Conor's last hope with his Tyrur dogs this year. Think he might train Micko, doesnt say on the form, but that's got a mountain to climb anyway. Got Droopys Jet (NAP)in tipping comp but not ante-post. Did have it on a double with Loughteen Blanco in Sussex Cup but that was caught by Westmead Maldini. In that first quarter final got Razl George anyway and kennelmate Apollo respected. Got Coolykereen Imp and Razl Bugatti in the second quarter final, where anything could qualify, imo. Fingers crossed. Certainly wouldnt be rushing for 5/4 Confident Rankin |

Why is everyone worried about Ballymac Vic's draw?? He will destroy the top to the corner unless he makes a right balls of the start [there was not much early in Kilbarry Rover's last race]. Cuil Cougar will be tougher to lead and showed great early after Barefoot Allstar bumped into him but Vic drawn inside him should mean that he goes around in front. Hopefully Dusseldorf can do a job on Airforce Diva and get rid of her.
