Had a little dabble on Ancer at 280.

Pins looked a bit more tucked today so hopefully a bit more of a challenge today but should still be fairly scoreable before they hopefully turn it up a notch for the weekend.
A few guys didn't get done last night, not a problem but bit of an issue if they don't get done tonight in terms of preparing the course for the weekend - if there are guys still to finish out round 2 in the morning would it be fair to turn on the subair and totally change conditions for the end of their round? |

By:
Bryson's pitch on 10 there looked like it was going to settle a couple of feet away and just kept going, bit more US Openy maybe today.

By:
Shot tracker has bottled it.

If you backed a guy with long hair called Tommy, you were almost right.
By:
See Bryson's putt there, above the hole is death on some of these greens.

+ 5 CUT ?

Course is in a good spot today, getting properly tough if you hit a bad one but still rewards for good play. Looking forward to seeing how they mess it up for the weekend.
By:
all looking like how u would expect, course tougher only the very best handling it, berger and DJ showing it is possible to play
By:
Proper setup and golf this.
Cream rising. Hoping Jt is paying close attention, lots to learn here. Cannot say it's unfair. YET..... |
By:
Greens are ideal, tricky but not crazy fast, plenty holing putts.
By:
Rahm of old just showed up.
By:
DJ of old too, couple of very poor short sides..
Playing so well too. |
By:
Great shot DJ.....super.
By:
Featured players going well.
Not many outside of those. Some big big numbers... |
By:
I honestly think I am a better putter than Big Tony...
Maybe my youngest son too. |
By:
Not a joke to say could be up beside Jt.
By:
its the10foot and under that get him, quite a good long putter
By:
Really.
![]() ![]() ![]() Total bottle job imo. |
By:
must admit i seem to be liking him more and more, think its his attitude so relaxed, win lose or draw just gets on with it.
By:
Be prepared for the poor house.....
By:
oh i said like not back lol!!
although backing him pre and putting lays straight back in must be yeilding a profit from him, as long as you dont get too greedy |
By:
when will louis throw it away? tomorrow or sunday cos sadly as i like him it's nion fact he will.
By:
going to be great if the top 3 can come back in the afternoon - xman and Bryson situated well
By:

By:
decham laughing in clubhouse
By:
Absolutely p1ssing himself
By:
OK, it's a US Open after all.
By:
MugIlroy will do well to ever win again let alone a major
By:
its getting so tight the people on the cut line could still bleeding WIN!
By:
greens seem a bit quicker today..great to see errant shots end up in the cabbage, testing scrambling ability which few now have when you can hit shots miles wide on 90% of tour courses and still be p1ssed off if you don't make birdie
this will be won as much between the ears this w/end as anything else |
By:
Had a feeling Rory would struggle more with the firmer course but this is a bit silly.
By:
rory backer

Could be a crazy weekend if they keep turning the screw. Bryson sitting pretty just now but we know he can have a trainwreck at any given time.
By:
Shame about yesterday for Collin because he is handling this absolutely beautifully.
