Back at Sheshan this year. A real shame to see Tiger fly half way around the world for a 1 round payday and then skip a WGC in the same country 3 days later. Poor form Eldrick. First look and none of the market leaders are grabbing me, Rory struggled again last week, Stenson with an injury cloud, Phil has lost all confidence in his swing, Rose has had some time off and Kaymer is hardly an attractive price. A week to back some further down the pile I think.

Playing poor but at the prices have chanced Grace so far. Delaet is as consistent as any but can't get the job done, if he hits around 50's I'll be tempted though.

you are quite weird heinz. it was you who asked how many threads there were going to be was it not? even with a question mark emoticon. the only person who would ask that question is the person who started a thread first, not the second. but you were not the first. i was pointing out this disconnect.
so actually, you worried exactly about such a triviality and then say that it is I who worry about trivialities when i was just pointing out that you would not have said what you said had you not thought your fred was first. thus i was outlining a reason why you could have mistakenly thought your thread was first. or you could have just seen the time of rhino's post and then stayed quiet after realising it came before yours.  |

dont know if you watched the cimb on sunday deplasterer, but delaet absolutlely sh@t himself down the stretch as soon as he hit the lead. the commentators sounded surprised as if he was the clutchest player of all time.
nevertheless, i think he's one of those players who never gets it done - until he does  |

Yep pokeron, saw highlights. This is probably not the event for him to fall over the line either, but his current form and price are tempting. Have added F Moli although his putting is still a great cause for concern. Haas at 60's is too big, main bet is on him at present. Sh it times for European viewers again but to good a tourney to miss.

Laid Bradley at 28, backed Matsuyama at 48 (my Hideki condition is worsening) and Sneds at 40. Sned just about the standout price for me, has to be backed.

That final round 65 from Henrik has left an impression on me, and just shy of 20s seems a decent bet. Will hold fire for now and see if he hits 20+ before the jump.
Rory didn't do much last week, and let me down in the process so I'm going to take him on a bit. Cue the first round 62 from boy wonder!  Snedeker and Haas the other two I like at current prices. Oh, and The Rat too - great work tipping him up last week Poke. I nearly jumped on the $7.20 for top-10 after you mentioned it but missed the boat. Story of my week unfortunately. |

Stenson has been struggling with a wrist/forearm problem and isn't guaranteed to start. Personally id wait and see how he goes as he could well do what what happened last week and withdraw early.

Not a layer but Rory's price would have to be in the 40's before I went near him for backing purposes.
Aware this may sound bullish but there are a number of players in far better form than him, and I still sense the thought process of "where is this going" when he is on the tee, even though he absolutely blistered a couple last week. |

Don't think a Keegan drift is coming so out of the lay at same price. Traded Horschel and put the small profit on Liang. Backed Bjorn, played well last week and puts together top finishes in bunches.

yeah rhino, i did the same with rory. laid at 14 way early and then backed back at 14 just in case people got excited about his duel with tiger 'the ball didn't move' woods. fail by me.
and speaking of inception, it was on channel 7 last night. good to watch it again. and watching it made me think, 'if we could plant a thought in a famous tipster about a certain player before a tourney, we can make him tip it and make free arbs ' |

miss anomaly, it's not too late to back him again this week for top something. he reminds me of ariya jatanugarn (another young thai golfer albeit female), who matched it with the world's best for a short period of time this but unfortunately fell short with that last hole 'triple bogey' at the honda (nice tip muppet that week btw). between feb and may this year she went 2nd,4th,3rd,3rd,4th. that's pretty nuts considering that she had to triple bogey the last hole to be 2nd.
that was her sliding door. it slid in the direction of injury and no wins. here's hoping the door slides the other way for this humble fat kid. |

Laid off Jimmy Walker at 60, same price went in. Been 55-60 all week, fairly friendless at 55 I feel a drift coming, gonna try and get something bigger. Small top up on Sned.
Bannahan, you might have missed prices but do you really want those 2? Plenty of value about imo. |

To be honest rhino... No.
The top 6-8 seem very short to me which normally has a knock on effect those further down the field price wise but nothing is jumping off the page at me at present. Formwise I like Casey Rose Sneds Speith Uihlein Walker but at the current prices none appeal. Price wise I like Grace @ 180 Would of played Johnson @ 45+, Fowler and Watney @ 80/90+. Not finding much this week as it seems only the 3rd tier (excuse the description) or lesser known lights seem to be in anyway back able. Ill see how this afternoon goes then get 3/4 on my side pre tee off |

This calendar year, Sned has 2 wins, 2 runner ups and 1 3rd amongst 9 top 10s, and 40- isn't backable in an event missing the best 2 players in the world on current rankings and question marks on the top fancies? Not sure what you expect
