@Deplasterer.........I have been thinking about these multiples that some punters try and sometimes a tied match ruins a good betting slip. What if instead of backing the winner of the match, we LAI the unfancied ones in the same permutation. Would anybody take this bet I wonder. It is an interesting idea.

On the football multiples on here it's fixed odds but well under exchange prices, assuming that is the cut for the exchange provider rather than commission..often thought that could be extended to golf though, just footy and horses available atm..

Multiples betting enables you to place a bet which combines the odds for several market outcomes. You can bet that a selection wins (back) or bet that a selection loses (lay) in a different market for each leg. For markets which have only one winner, you can combine a number of selections. If you back a number of selections in a leg, the leg will win if one of the selections wins. If you lay a number of selections in a leg, the leg will win if none of the selections win.
A multiple bet is a winner if, and only if, all of the legs in the multiple are winners. If a multiple bet is a winner, backers of the multiple bet will win the potential win and layers of the multiple bet will lose the liability. If a multiple is a loser, backers of the multiple bet will lose the stake and layers of the multiple bet will win the backer's stake. |
