very unlucky and as said before, good sporting epitaph from knightrider - if theres a consolation for him its that, as he said earlier, he's created a decent buffer for the 40% premium charge on future winnings ....

and you frames are a sheep
By:
Barzalona...you mug.....why didn't you wait until he went 1.02
![]() |
By:
gutted for you kr, and for scott
silver lining will be no pc on your next win ..... |
By:
Well you know what they say,if your betting that sort of money you can obviously afford to lose it.
By:
Barzalona is a complete ****! Hard luck KR. You'll be back.
By:
Very unlucky KR.
Ignore the tw@ts. |
By:
too true lionel.....especially if you can't be bothered to walk to the car to lay off a 1.02 shot
![]() |
By:
ouch. |
By:
sorry i didn't mean that in a bad way,But i do believe that saying,
KR is obviously not short of a pound or two.But very unlucky all the same. |

A reason why Betfair make so much... and it is glorified by the respondents on this thread

i would like to have a look at the accounts of the t wats on here giving the stick
not a winner amongst them 1.01 |

"Man with the golden thatch"
cor blimey. |
By:
what on earth is your problem barzalona, why are you trying (and failing) to catch him out?
commiserations KR, enjoy your night out with your family |
By:
let it ride; yet, you put your chips down and made your choices...some of us respect that. Very classy attitude in the losing hour - you might be back fairly soon with a big major wager in a market near us...
all the best - taking it in on the chin, you've got a Calzaghe jaw, it seems to those of you pathetic ludomaniacs gloating, prospering from or doubting this - shame on you although you don't deserve any attention |
By:
Just read through this thread again from start to finish.... I suggest a few of you do the same
It's epic ![]() |
By:
Hard lines mate.
Not sure there is anything else to say after such a sickening loss. |
By:
(very bold to let it ride...)
By:
Wise after the event but there isn't much point betting on betfair if you don't lay off when you are miles ahead.
By:
so let me get this straight....
you couldn't be "bothered" to go get your laptop to lay off while in running. But you could be "bothered" to go get it to post on here 5 minutes after it was all finished? One word - FANTASIST. |
By:
The point is, bet on betfair... pay 40% tax... and when you go 1.02... don't lay off
oh for gawds sake start with the 1m on tiger after scott takes a lead day day 2.... you have now spruced a 950k plus on tiger... and wait... scott aswell what kind of twisted planet do you sheep live on? |
By:
you are that gutted, that the first thing you do... is post up on here and tell us how gutted you are and now you are off for a meal?
![]() wonderful |
By:
I agree with Christy, if you're backing they stakes with a 40% PC and have no intention of laying off then why use Betfair in the first place. Surely you'd just use a bookie that isn't claiming 40%?
By:
Ouch KR i done my bollox too , good luck in future. Have been reliably informed you will be back but the £1100 i lost means i wont be for a while. Was £324 green on Ernie this morning and kept backing Scott and even layed Ernie @ 44 ffs

You can have sympathy to a degree but not to lay off something that short doesn't deserve that much sympathy, i don't care how minted you are...if it is all genuine in the first place, and on that issue whippet makes an interesting point.
By:
Can imagine a few on here are waking up and feeling stupid now....
This is a full example of why you fail at most things.... you don't think for yourself, it's easier to jump on the bandwagon. You will continue to fail. |
By:
KR is a big winner long term , he plays the game his way and has won fortunes playing this way.As already stated it's 1.01 the likes of Barzalona are long term losers.
Make that short term as they disappear very quickly. |
By:
frames - how could you possibly quantify what you suggest?
By:
If you are with the majority view, you should know that the majority of the time you will be wrong.
The majority fail. If you can understand and apply the logic above you will be just fine long term. |
By:
Any gambler, for example poker player would green up and leave nothing to chance, this is poor judgement if it really happened, the amount of times golf tournies are chucked away late on makes me think the odds are on it being a fantasy bet anyway.
By:
Bad luck anyone who backed Scott. I was on Luke and Ian Poulter to finish top 5 so get a bit back. When are Betfair likely to settle the golf bets by the way?
By:
frames, there's proof to back up what Barzalona's saying.
what's your proof or are you all fantasists? |
By:
Even if KR was spoofing why do you feel the need to stick the knife in Barzalona , Dont think KR wants anyone to 'jump on bandwagon' The guy has EARNED peoples RESPECT you have long way to go
![]() |
By:
I would be a backer at 1.01 that the bets are genuine and I would collect.
By:
What proof ?
By:
dear me KR , you took that well ....
unlucky sir ...better luck next time if that was me , i'd need to manage my position , without interruption, how you manage to attend social events with such an in running position is amazing ![]() shame you never got the chance to green up at low odds on scott ....imagine how he's feeling ![]() |
By:
You quite simply proved a point frames, backer at 1.01?
genius |
By:
and the 40% PC is crazy
![]() the reason why a punter bets here, is because the high street will never lay such a large bet with a mill liability |
