Anybody who has been on here a while knows that this is a real bet. Best of luck Knight Rider.

Probably as Knight Rider is the biggest golf player on here mate and has been for years. I don't fancy Scott to ever win a biggie think his short game is similar to Westy's when it really counts

At least both started well tho which helps

Woods leads, at this rate he'll be odds on soon
By:
fair enough, he'll hit 3.0 very soon!
By:
birdies the par 5 will see him close to 3

Is laying off not am option KR?
Are you in no way tempted by 100k on all and 350k ish on woods? At his current odds to lay 220k at 4.2 would give you those outcomes |
By:
only anxious shot was the first time use of the driver
keep it in the bag tiger ![]() |
By:
Laying 220k at 4.2 is easier said than done
![]() Will have to wait until tonight and see how the land lies. |

"Are you in no way tempted by 100k on all and 350k ish on woods?"
Not a bad couple of hours work!! |
By:
As KR says - laying off $220K is easier said than done.

What a miserable fakir that Woods is. Tiger???? Eldrick isn't it? Loathesome bloody character who thinks he has some divine right to succeed. Has not stopped complaining since he arrived here. Rough is too rough??? Muppet bstd. I cannot wait to see him fail and that bottom lip drop even further. Spoiled toerag! Lay it off KR!

Spoiled brat Woods.

19 Jul 12 01:21 What do you plan to do if Tiger goes out in 30 and is around 3.0 at some point tomorrow? Here we go... |
By:
By:
One does not have to drop 220k in one go.....just 5k at a time
By:
There are not many wanting Woods yet though, even at 4 or 5/1. KR will have to wait till he is in the clubhouse to really get things on the move. That is if he is either in the lead, or bang there.

How much PC will betfair take off % wise if u win this bet?
By:
40% Captloot. Feel sick just thinking about it!

Quick question KR and I haven't been over there in ages but wouldn't it have been better to place this bet on the purple site? Or is there no money over there?
By:
how much could you get on with the firms if you asked for 9/1 ?
By:
Am using purple too.....good liquidity today....made some nice trades.

Quick question KR and I haven't been over there in ages but wouldn't it have been better to place this bet on the purple site? Or is there no money over there? Just had a look at this. Betfair - 7.6m matched Purple - 20.3m matched ![]() Their liquidity isn't so bad after all!! |
By:
so in effect with the 40% PC charge youve basically got 111k on at about 6/1?
good luck with it and hope it comes in for you ![]() |
By:
not much liquidity on th daq unfortunately-all that exists is a bot that mirrors bf
if you want to offer a bit bigger than BF you'll be accomodated |
By:
Had another 10k on him at the purple place Mariner Paul. There just isn't the same liquidity there obviously.
I know some will question the decision to place a large bet on here when I know I have to pay 40%, I don't know if I am doing the right thing or not tbh, had a big win on Webb Simpson at the US Open which took me into PC territory and have not really had a bet since (annoyingly I had a large bet on Spain to win Euro 2012 which because of the PC I laid off and so only won about 35k instead of 300k). Decided in the end to just carry on using BF as normal and treat it as a 40% 'tax', not ideal but I still think of all paths I could take this one will make me the most money. |

Why are we all still on betfair if the purples don't do this premium charge bollox? Surely betfair are encouraged to carry on because we all stick around. PC is a load of crap in my opiniin
By:
Well he "only" staked 111k so he's responsible for 222k of the money matched not 1.2m
By:
I've been watching purple all day and it's not that far behind here......sometimes when the price drops on here i was able to get a better price at purple......normally to trade it takes ages to get your lay bets matched but today....The Opens.....it's been quick
By:
Purple work out their traded amounts differently to betfair, you can guarantee more has been traded here
By:
Betfair and Purple calculate their matched amounts differently.
£1000 @ 10/1 counts as £1k matched on Betfair but counts as £10k matched on Purple. Or something like that. |
By:
ah i see, that'd explain why they have millions more matched then
By:
yeah but if hes put up 111k at 9/1 then other people have to put up a million to match the bet surely?
![]() |
By:
I think £111k matched at 10 on BF would count as £222,000 matched. It takes the price out of it.
On Purple I think it would count as 999k. I could be wrong, but its something along those lines. |
By:
99% sure that's right MC. £111k bet = £222k traded. On purple it would be 999k.
Not been on here for a few years, you were spot on about Nick Powell eh |

Knight Rider 19 Jul 12 11:06
done a few others Hibee, in facy my 2nd biggest win is on Scott who also leads! Well you've had worse mornings i guess! |
By:
Cheers buckfasta, yeah I said Powell would go right to the top from when I first saw him play, as a 16 year old when he came on in a preseason friendly against Ipswich and his touch and intelligence were stunning.

IF U HAD SUCH A BET WITH 40% PREMIUM CHARGE THEN U ARE A FKN CLOWN ! COULDVE EASILY GOT THAT MUCH ON WITH THE BOOKS ON THIS EVENT
