I backed outsiders pre-tournament along with Tringale, Palmer and Chalmers. Managed to get £27 on Curtis at 18/1 during round 2 so if he holds on I will make a couple of hundred profit. Be nice to see Chalmers make a charge though - much in the same way as he did in Australia before xmas.

Agree about the South Africans - I guess they are tuned to playing well and peaking during there summer months so maybe thats why they have all played so well in the past few months

It will be interesting to see how he is priced up for other tournaments from here on in, especially now he has won (fingers crossed) outside of South Africa.

I agree Ski-Wiz but then again I was on Dufner when he lost a 5 stroke lead with as many holes to play at the PGA last year. Never count your chickens !

I don't know who's responsible for choosing the venues for The China Open but any chance they could maybe try and book a golf course for next years event?That's 2 years in a row they've served up shockers.I'm sure with bets riding on it Grace and Colsaerts backers probably had their attention held but even though i was on Dubuisson each way i ended up switching it over for a while as it was so mundane.They reckon over the next few years there will be even more tour events played in China but here's hoping that's not the case.Just a thought,do they hand you a camcorder and mobile phone at the turnstiles as you enter tour events in China?The caddies must hate going there.Well done to the Grace backers though,i just couldn't see him making it 3 wins in a year but he done it in style.Amazing that he had to go to tour school to get his card due to not not finishing high enough up the rankings in last years Challenge Tour even though he played pretty much a full schedule on it.
