Hansons play certainly deserves a win...can he close it when it matters ? i know he did in the czech open to get into the ryder cup so it may be that he prefers being a big fish in a little pond, if so then he has the conditions to suit this week
By:
Maggot, he had the length to contend at the Masters and from what i can remember, when both Micko and Hanson took driver their wasn't much in them.
I'd day he has the best part of 15 yards on Moli which is getting to 1 1/2 club difference. |

Well chaps it all starts in 25 mins so we will see who does what.....1st tee time 11.45...first learderboard update at 12.10 i reckon?...

How's the weather looking.
Any morning / afternoon advantage? |
By:
I would probably say that the afternoon startes have the best of it today, Wind fairly consistant throughout with rain clearing up at around midday.
By:
mash...winds fcst this morning 8-12 mph....
this afternoon 15-20 mph gusting upto to 25... from Eurotour update 11pm.. |
By:
went of Accuweather, can't claim that it is a reliable site. i hope your right in regards the forecast golfnut, Peter Hanson 64 would be nice

Shame no TV.???....any chinese TV channel showing this tourny?
![]() ![]() ![]() You should know better ski... |
By:
Can only ask....maybe there is.....surely there are some chinese peeps on this forum......they love gambling on just about any/everything
By:
There is not one TV channel in the world that shows live at Golf 7am...not even the Majors...
By:
I would......
By:
Paul Casey is the best player in the field. Cant understand anyone who dont bet him at 44 amazing price in this field.
By:
Chinese player -3 is Tai Fu...looks like he'll be teaing it up for the weekend
![]() |
By:
-3 for Colsaerts & he's traded @ 6/1
![]() |
By:
Noren having an opening to his round for the first time in a while...-4 thru 6....use to regularly come out the blocks like sh1te off a shovel but not so lately....till now !!!!
By:
Noren -5 thru 8...last time he started a tournie like this he hosed up....14/1 might seem big at end of round
By:
well it certainly looks like a bombers course!
If its true the morning starters each day have a big advantage. Kruger and Oleson putting themselves into good positions I still can not believe there is a 13 yr old playing, it would nice to see him play |
By:
Looks a wide open event ! 40 players within 4 shots of the lead and 60 odd within 5.
3 of my picks - Grace, Finch and McGrane at 5 under and also added Marcel Siem first thing this morning who is 4 under. Price on Colsaerts was ridiculous - 5/1 at one stage !! |
By:
Credit to the 13yr old...was +6 after only 5 holes but finished +5...
By:
No bet on this for me. Missed Gonnet at the big prices, so staying out. Good luck all.
By:
We can surmise that this is a birdie fest course......had some money up last night to back Casey @80 and duly obliged....now traded out......also traded on Hanson and Lowry.....Colseart my only red.
Col -4 11.5 Grace -5 24......won twice this year Casey -4 22...... Am i alone in thinking that the favs should be Casey and Grace and Colseart should be 25 to 30 Noren -4 34...i will have that......other orders with value are up. |
By:
Backed Hed -6 at 55....be rude not to when it is around 50% higher than the bookies
By:
Agree alot ski, Noren was great value in the 30s, Casey played very well and I know he always looks smug, but he did look confident.
I keep saying it but a big hitter will win this, its a real advantage here. Also picked andersen-hed @ 55s and Derksen 150s |
By:
I also forgot to say Gonnet looks great value, I really think he is a winner in waiting and always hangs around
By:
Good Start Backed Monty Before the off both to win and top ten...... everthings crossed he can keep it going.
By:
Out of interest eric, why would you think those guys are value if you are placing an emphasis on big hitting?
Derksen is tiny off the tee and I dont think Anderson Hed or Gonnet are very long either? Obvioulsy Noren and Casey fit that criteria, but just wondering your thought process for the other 3. Cheers and GL. |
By:
Eric....I'm not sure about Gonnet.....I find the french players somewhat unpredictable......must be their temperament.
Muncha...Hed average only 10 yards behind Casey.....Hed @55 is far too high compare to the bookies and therefore value |
By:
Lots of value here now...winds fcst to be stronger in the afternoon again tomorrow...
By:
http://scoringsolutions.com.hk/live1.htm
an up-to date leaderboard. i will be up all night to see if Noren can take down Donaldson in a mythical 2 ball |
By:
Was there a massive advantage yesterday going off early ??? the scoring appeared similar for both sides of the draw.
Looks wide open and as usual with the Eurotour the leaderboard will no doubt look very different come end of play after day 2. With so many mediocre players that have ''flash in the pan'' days on either day 1 or day 2 its bound to happen. |
By:
Nice 10 (+5) for Casey on the par 5 3rd....if the scoring is correct
By:
Yet still available to lay at 30?? Someone doesn't believe the score board!!
By:
or haven't seen it....theres one born every minute....someone was waiting to back Colsaerts @ 5.9 for a good 2 minutes after SS were showing bogey on the 3rd
By:
Has sky coverage started already? They shed any light on what Casey done??
By:
Looks like Olesen saw the front & promptly soiled his panties
