Good evening! Not been able to post up a detailed spurs vs Juve preview had a one hour meeting with my manager at work today and my heads not been with it! I’m looking at handing my notice in at work in may just before the World Cup starts as just feel as I get older the aircraft industry is not for me and becoming untenable! I have been their for 10 years nearly since leaving school but want to try something new which involves more time for trading midweek etc! Will start looking at part time jobs soon , a postman job does make appeal as can get started early and finished early so following that possibility up!

Spurs vs Juve match preview/ correct score preview! I was on the draw at 3.3 for the first leg in Turin and traded out at 3.2 and tonight the draw is 3.6 much higher I make that a value back for a game that could be a cageyier affair than the first leg! Yes both teams will probably look for the win but they are quite evenly matched so 0-0 1-1 2-2 wouldn’t be shock scores! The market made a right mess up of under/over 2.5 for the first leg allowing under 2.5 to go off at 1.53! Higuain nicely flipped the market on its head in minute one with a superb volley on the halfturn! For leg two at Wembley unders have drifted 1.9 out to 1.97 so far and for this match I will respect the market more and agree 2-3 goals look the way to go! I’m bringing out my BTTS template for this game 1-1 2-1 1-2 2-2 because I think BTTS will land but difficult to call a winner! Also would like the 3-1 spurs at 22 as they have  beaten Real Madrid and Dortmund 3-1 at Wembley in the champions league this season and this should be respected!

YUP....KANE header very unlucky ...and old codger handling TWICE at edge of box 2nd half......missed by OFFICIALS and COMMENTATORS........really crucial points in match, as SPURS probably would have scored from  1 of them!

Good game to watch though.

MILAN v ARSENAL

I posted the following earlier on thread.....and still have same gut feeling on this match. Therefor post it again :-

===============================================================

MILAN played well against ROMA, although ROMA look a jaded team with certain players NOT giving 100 % last night.

MILAN certainly look better organised , but suspect ARSENAl will be more up for the MILAN game than they were for the league cup....where the prize is not a Champions League place for winning that cup.

Wenger knows that winning Europa cup may well be the only way his team can get into CL next season. Perhaps some of his players think the same, as many of them never gave 100 % in the game last night IMO.!

ARSENAL away form is very poor indeed, so can well see why MILAN winning 1st leg looks an appealing bet.

However, ARSENAL in FA cup finals have a superb record........so perhaps they will fight their hardest against MILAN in 1st leg to try to get at least 1 away goal as such a goal or goals will be crucial if they want to have a chance to progress to quarter final.

Looking at some of teams left in this comp.......cannot see A winning this cup. However, they may well get past MILAN .

Perhaps over 2.5 goals,  with cover on 1-1 worth a try in 1st leg........and the bet on MILAN winning 1st leg might be what I'll go for on the night.
========================================================================

Since above post, unfortunately MILAN v INTER derby match was postponed! Therefor they have had time to get really ready for ARSENAL maatch, and to recover from theeir 2 games away in Rome.

A still need to get that away goal tonight though.......and they are likely to score 1 or 2 goals IMO.

Based on my belief on A scoring, then perhaps a LAY on 1-0 is "best" bet, as cannot see A NOT conceding at least 1 goal ....probably 2/3 goals!

MGOFS is 2-2.

Cheers DFC just read through GL with bets! Milan win for me tonight Danny welbeck lone striker dosen’t appeal to me for arsenal backing and coupled with the form guide being massively in Milan’s favour i’ll Back the milanese in correct with a hedge position on 1-1! Four scoreline plan is 1-0 2-0 2-1 Milan and the 1-1

Not best pleased with last nights game I called it wrong serie A is obviously nowhere near as strong as the prem nowadays! I had a £350 hedge on Milan vs arsenal at kickoff and ended up losing £50! That takes some doingSad i’m Busy this afternoon preparing for Cheltenham next week so will post Man united vs Liverpool preview tomorrow in morning ! The 1-1 back at 7.4 for that game does look the place to be for me

Manchester United vs Liverpool Match /correct score preview ! It is mental that Liverpool are favourites at old Trafford! at the start of the season who would of thought it! But Liverpool do have much more fluidity and the team flows better than Man united’s! After watching united get ripped to bits against Chelsea at home in the first half the other week  at old Trafford I can’t back the home side at 2/1 against this Liverpool side! But I’m also a bit wary about backing Liverpool for the win as rumours circulating online and on social media Jose mourinho’s main plan is to nullify Liverpool and catch them on the break! Which means a bit of a bus park from united could take place and they did pull it off at anfield coming away with the 0-0 draw! So yet again when two evenly matched sides clash i’m On the draw this time backing 3.35-3.4! Their are rumours that pogba isn’t playing now if united line up with matic, Mctominay and fellaini in centre mid the draw will literally crash through the roof after team news! Even with a different setup I still expect draw to hold up sub 3.4 so it’s a massive risk reward position! The correct score plan for this game is 0-0 1-0 0-1 1-1 2-1 1-2 2-2 ! The reason I have chosen a 7 score plan is because this is a high liquidity market and I normally do well on this fixture! I’m also finding it difficult to predict the full time score I think that comes down to united’s tactics! Gun to my head I would say a 1-1 draw a repeat of last season’s result between these two at old Trafford! My prediction also is for under 2.5 to drop 2 into 1.9 pre off so i’,m trading the correct score market with this is mind!

Afternoon PS. Feelings are similar to yours on MU v LIV match.

As MU have SEVILLA to play on 13th......not far away......then MU likely to "park the bus" today.

LIV 's mobility is their main asset, but just likely MU negate their moves.

1st half probably a chess match..........and set pieces is where a goal or more might come from.

A penalty could come today , and suspect LIV might get one.

Therefor a LAY on 1-0 appears to be "best" bet based on opinion above.

MGOFS is 0-0 / 0-1 or 1-1.

Ball bouncing MU's way SO FAR......LIV playing really well....but passes/crosses just not falling "right" for goal to come. VAN D poor effort ...no excuses for him  considering what he cost!

LIV have worked hard and probably game will be similar 2nd half. Suspect RASHFORD will be substituted 2nd half......saving him for SEVILLA .....probably LULAK as well!

LIV deserve a "break in luck" 2nd half....and they are still likely to score with football they are playing. Penalty still a strong possibility in his match with pace in game.

Fingers crossed for 2-2 PS....

Newcastle Utd    v    Southampton

N have a tough run of games....so they MUST NOT lose this match and should be trying to win.....as 3 points needed.

S seem to have a few "easier" games to play so a DRAW would be "good" result for them.

S likely to play an extremely TIGHT game..........which might suit NEWCASTLE .....so I believe N will SCORE  and probably win this match.

MGOFS is 2-1....or 2-0.

CHELSEA v CRYSTAL PALACE

CHELSEA - Must be focused on BARCA match soon. I don't believe they will be going full out to beat CP. However, they are likely to score 1 or 2 goals.

CP are capable of scoring a goal...but they tend to leak a goal.

MGOFS is 1-0 or 2-1.

Not clear on what CS to LAY...............as when CL match looming just makes it harder to weigh up! Probably a TIGHT game .....so a LAY on CHELSEA ANY OTHER HOME WIN might be "best" ....as a TIGHT game gives a chance for this to come good.

Arsenal vs Watford match / correct score preview! Good win for arsenal in Milan on Thursday and I expect them to field a similar side with aubemyang coming in to replace welbeck and mikky T employed on the left again who was superb in Milan! With arsenal being full strength I think they will go off closer to 1.45 than 1.55 ! I do fancy them for the win Watford do seem to be better at home than away and delefou is out injured one of their better players! They did win 1-2 at the emirates last season but i’m Backing arsenal today and think they back up the Milan win with another win today ! 2-0 2-1 3-0 3-1 the correct score plan in particular 3-1 backs 13-13.5 look good enough prices for me !

I am wondering if their is a more influential player in the premier league for their side than Wilfred zaha at Crystal Palace ! Imo he’s worth over £50 million now in transfer value! De boer got sacked after 4 games at the start of the season and a big reason for that was zaha being injured for those games! Then most of Palace resurgence under Roy hodgson has circled around zaha playing and playing really well! as soon as he gets injured palace can’t win a football match without him! Infact they haven’t won a single game without him this season in the premier league! They went away to Leicester a few months back and he ripped them apart and was the best player on the pitch ! Yesterday Palace were awful I the first half away at Chelsea he came on for benteke at half time and transformed the game ! Palace nearly got a draw out of it in the end and Chelsea struggled to cope with him! His pass for van aanholt goal was sublime! I really enjoy watching zaha for palace but he could play for any team in that top 6 I’d be amazed if someone dosen’t come in with a huge offer in the summer!

You know this as well....but took on a derby match. Main thing with derby games is to keep staking SMALL!!!!Wink
============================================================================

ARSENAL v WATFORD
Now that A have a 2 goal lead going into 2nd leg v MILAN.........they will be totally focused on that match. A are now 13 points away from 4th spot and very unlikely to be in the 4 by end of season. Therefor I am wary of their approach to this match today.

WATFORD 9 points away from relegation zone....but seem to be, as you say PS, a  team that does well at home and poor results away. They play every 2nd game, saving energy for home games. No real pressure on them today, and perhaps this lack of pressure on them , and they have beaten A before away, might see them having a go today to try to score 1st.

I believe they WILL score at least 1 goal. The last thing A want though is a battle for points with MILAN game soon! Howeever, they may well have to battle!

My view on game, makes a LAY on 1-0 the "best" bet on this match .

MGOFS is 2-1 or 2-2.
===================================================================

Good "rant" on WZ DevilGrin. He appears to be a player that looks as if his adrenaline is at a very high level when he is playing well. ( Similar to Sanchez when he was at Arsenal )

Currently Sanchez does not look as strong or have same energy as he had with Arsenal?????

Both players have shown skill levels at a high level when they have their adrenaline up.

Would you "risk" 50 Mil on such players?

Mind you....if POGBA is over £80 Mil value.....then certainly Sanchez  and WZ would be value at £50, provided they can produce that energy level and strength in their play more consistently.

Away for foodddddddddddddd...as my energy levels NEED it!   Wink

=========================================================================

    Stoke City    v    Manchester City

MC will want to get "Champions" title ASAP.......and this appears a strong opportunity to get nearer title.

STOKE - Find it hard to get a win....plenty DRAWS recently. Scoring is a big problem for them. Their SWISS player is their main attack player and if he gets a chance ....he might take it!

However, the style of play from these teams leads me to conclude ...MC should win....and probably 3 goals in game.

MGOFS is 3-1 or 3-0.

I’ve been finishing work at 12 everyday for Cheltenham as using a load of bookmaker offers plus doing my own trading aswell! Barcelona v Chelsea

1-1 in 1st leg.....so BARCA have the advantage of that vital AWAY goal.

Can't see BARCA just sitting back against a CHELSEA defence that is not that good.

Just very likely that won't finish a draw, other than 0-0......so the "best" CS to LAY is 1-1.

MGOFS is 2-0 or 3-1.

It looks now like we have a permanent top 5 in English football fighting it out for the 4 champions league places and I can’t see that changing in the foreseeable future unless arsenal sack arsenal wenger or go on a massive spending spree which eclipses city and united but I can’t see that happening! Arsenal look like Europa league cannon fodder nowadays, I personally think the game has evolved past arsene wenger now and his tactics and player recruitment should be questioned massively! I think it gets worse for arsenal fans from here their away form is truly awful defeats away at Swansea and Bournemouth and draws away at West Brom, West Ham and Southampton in the league is not good enough! I think their Europa league campaign comes crashing down in milan in two weeks time, as stated their away form is a major issue but at the other end of the pitch aubemyang is ineligible, lacazette injured so we have the prospect of Danny welbeck playing the lone striker role! Welbeck for me will be playing at Brighton or West Brom next season he’s not top 6 level in prem! AC Milan are a team on the up and produced a defensive masterclass last night away in Rome to record a 0-2! New manager gattuso seems to have the troops rallied and no doubt they’ll relish the chance to turn arsenal over! After the swedes osterlands won 2-1 at the emirates last week they’ll probably even fancy their chances to win the away leg aswell milan, they look well set up to counter attack! 7/5 on milan to win the first leg looks a decent price to me !

This is the problem with football, it defies any analysis. Who would have predicted on the same night Sevilla would beat United at Old Trafford and QPR with 2 away wins all season would win away at villa who have one home defeat all season. Its ultimately a game of chance which makes analysis fairly futile and the reason why its nearly impossibly long term to make more money compared to flipping a coin up.

But if you look a little deeper seville had battered united in the first leg and villa had just put massive energy into beating wolves
a few days before hence the flat performance. Thats my opinion anyway
By:
DFCIRONMAN
When: 15 Mar 18 11:30
A 1-1 DRAW would have been sufficient for SEVILLA to go through.......and NOBODY will ever get EVERY games definite outcome.

However, if you take as much circumstances surrounding each of the 2 teams......you can make an opinion on how a game might develop.

OK.....NOBODY will be "right" on every aspect of how a game develops....but there are usually some aspects in your before game opinion that can enable a profit to be made....or a loss mitigated.

I agree that you can't always rely on players doing what you expect them to do, or coaches, or referees, or assistant referees etc etc............however, SEVILLA were not mugs, in spite of how certain commentators blethered, and still blether a load on rubbish about them after the 1st leg.

Some of the comments McMAN made.....or former player who played for DORTMUND and ENGLAND....going hyperbolic about POGBA or other players......saying "what a wonderful shot" ...."wonderful" this ...and "wonderful" that......when shot flys over the bar or past the post and does not score etc etc........

You MUST make YOUR OPINION on the game.....you should not rely on commentators or anyone else on arriving at an opinion on a game.

SEVILLA were a serious threat....as MU failed to score at least 1 AWAY goal in 1st leg. Anyone who thought at HT in 2nd leg that MU were going to sail through ....knows little about the game ( MCMAN etc etc )

There are some former players who make good comments about players/games etc etc.....HOWEVER, THERE ARE MANY WHO HAVE LOW STANDARDS WHEN THEY PLAYED FOOTBALL....WHO JUST DO NOT SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN MATCHES, OR ARE NOT CRITICAL ENOUGH OF PLAYERS LIKE POGBA WHO, FOR THE MONEY HAS SO MANY WEAKNESSES IN HIS GAME THAT SAYING HE IS A "WONDERFUL" PLAYER ARE JUST BLETHERING!

One of the reasons the STANDARD at international level is so poor in UK is down to the former players giving credit to players who fall far below the STANDARD required to be a "wonderful" player.

To say the game is a GAME OF CHANCE is not accurate. It is NOT like flipping a coin. You have to weigh up as many relevant circumstances before forming YOUR OWN OPINION.

Nobody gets their opinion "right" on EVERY match........but PS is pretty good on his opinions on matches generally. We both differed on ARSENAL and MILAN. ROMA were a poor team on the night v MILAN........ARSENAL were a poor team prior to playing MILAM. However, BOTH ROMA and ARSENAL won their CL games to qualify for next stage.

You have to read between the lines on what the objectives of coaches and players might be......PS perhaps was not fully concentrating on ROMA v MILAN, and formed an opinion on that game which was that MILAN could beat ARSENAL in 1st leg. ROMA's poor performance against MILAN influencing that opinion. Nobody is saying it is EASY to get an opinion "right", but as long as generally your opinion is "right" on how a game might go ...........then analysing a game and forming an opinion...IS FAR BETTER THAN FLIPPING A COIN!

Quick view on :-

20:05    (2)Arsenal  v   AC Milan(0)

A's next 4 PL games look winnable.....but they do not look likely to get into PL CL spot!

Therefore they MUST win or DRAW against MILAN.

MILAN very likely to score at least 1 goal....probably 2......as they will be well up for this match.

If A try to play a TIGHT game 1st half.....not sure they can do this very well!
MILAN seem to be a hit on break team.....so as long as not reckless the way A attack, they are likely to get 1st goal in 1st half IMO.

Can't see a 0-0 finish to this game.......so possibly a LAY on 0-0 is "best" bet based on my opinion.

MGOFS is 2-2.
