Good to see they're all getting hammered but from my betting perspective I'm spending most of my time twiddling my thumbs as cards are so dire,just struggling to see any worthwhile bets usually this time of year would be having a bet in lots of the aw races.Decembers just gone been my quietest month of the year around 60 bets if that and I usualluy average 120-180 a month plus multiples on a daly basis,hope the cards improve as bored to tears..

Blinky blue has thoroughly inconsistent profile and had regressed down to a mark of 47,she's had only the one win from 24 runs nothing in her form suggests she was backable last time out.She's worth a a small bet as the time for the grade 1m27.90 was very good and 4ls clear of the field,she will either bomb out or win looking at her profile she may infact be worth following in future if she does bomb out as that time for grade is very similar to times you'd expect for horses rated up to 65 this race is for horses only rated upto.If she bombs out tasaboog has the one run over 7fs here which looks better than anything else in the race on what little forms on offer.. 52.50ptew

Archies advice looked to be trvelling well when last sen over c/d I'm not convinced he likes these left handed tracks 4 wins all going the other way,hung in last furlong to the right after looking to get in the race.It maybe they are giving him another run here,then back to Kempton last two wins,this is another drop in grade and just because of price will have a token bet went off 8/1 so maybe heavily backed again..15ptew

04 Jan 16 10:31 Great thread been sneakily following and got myself a nice wedge from your knowledge so thanks for that. I personally don't back them until the morning of the race. If your trying to lose accounts as the thread would imply then backing them the night before is total suicide, especially with the difference in SP. Today Archies Advice is currently 6/1 from 18/1, I was wondering why would you not keep the tips quiet until the next day as people with no accounts are clearly smashing up betfair which then affects the bookmaker prices, as well as others getting small amounts with the firms. Maybe 10 people are getting 25ew on at 18/1 when if left until the day 40 people might be able to get 100ew on at maybe a slightly less price in the morning. I can appreciate your only doing this for fun as have prob made enough from gambling anyway with the value your getting. Do you put them up night before because you know they are stand out and others people will jump on at 18/1 (I know nothing of racing FYI). Or is it just a that's when you work and that's when you fit it in sort of thing. Either way people should try and restrain from hammering them the night before, your accounts may last longer than 5 bets if you do and you can take these so called bookmakers to the cleaners! Keep up the good work though I've had 100s maybe 400-500 accounts over last 3/4 seasons so thinking about accounts for getting decent singles on isn't really realistic I've been in this situation for 15 years so it's nothing new.All the form is done two days in advance the only real way for me to get a decent return is waiting for days when I have 4/5/6 picks and betting some sort of multiples using some accounts and maximizing the value.Had my best season this year by far and 50% of that was exploiting the prices through multiple bets not necessarily getting best prices,sometimes get bets on in shops if the night before I fancy a few that are too short and then become value following day. Spend a lot of time at hospital so have very little time to follow the markets closely on a daily basis that;'s why I don't get involved on betfair too often trading etc easy money,but I don't need to do it and really have no inclination sitting on here allday. |

Three cards of absolute rubbish yet again tomorrow,i can't really see anything worthwhile doing there maybe though a nice little trade on one of applebys at Chelmsford Heska and although shown nothing in last 5/6 runs could make excuses for most of those runs.Heskas looked a 1m4f aw horse won off 67 last season has no turf form so could put a line through the 4 runs august to October,a run at swell on different surface then another over wrong trip at wolves and last time out a falsely run race turned into a sprint over 1m4fs at wolves.Those runs have enabled heska to drop to a mark of just 58 with ali Rawlinson claiming another 3 pound as well,as there appears to be some excuses then will have smallest bet possible.I'd be very surprised if this isn't backed as there's ? over most of the runners and even the recent form of field is very mediocre in weak races,if heska did run anything like would go very close in this race,at 16/1-14/1 in 5 horse race there could be a mini gamble in this and i'll just have the .05pt win..

K'gari looks open to improvement time was reasonable for 5f race at wolves,the negative is the trainer backing at these prices, I'd expect it to go off 1/2 tops in this race if its come on for debut.Would try and get a free bet out of this purely because of stable...50pt win

Very suspect betting in k'garis race looked potential 70+ minimum as I said with these sort of trainers the only way to bet it was get a free bet,i expected it to be 4/9 2/5 by the off comes out slow and soft lead looked predictable at 4/6 for the winner.

Another meeting of small fields very few betting opportunitys the 1.55 might be worth a couple of small bets,light rose ran 5th to exceeding power last time out after chasing the pace over tomorrows c/d,the pace horses all dropped away bar light rose and the first 4 were all finishers so the run can be slightly upgraded.The winners recently been second to mezzotint and loyalty and the 6th royal Normandy and 8th pacolita have also won so form looks ok,light rose isn't easy to win with and probably a horse I would avoid but she is a decent price this mark she hovers around 67 but as are most of the field look unreliable and the fact there hopefully won't be to much pace up front may suit her to do her own thing..10ptew
Will also have a bet on twin point as well a horse that has been an eyecatcher on a few runs but similar to rest of field very difficult to win with twin point has run over c/d when second to the exchequer in respectable time back in 2014 trip should suit and big drop in weights since march on aw down to 67 from 79...15ptew Light rose 11/1 365... Regrettably no bet for me today, but well spotted - looked diff class - am beginning to wonder if the AW is going to be the vehicle for making money that it has been in the past, I'm sure there will be opportunities in the next 3 months or so but maybe not as many as in the past due to so many more people being clued up and the books running scared when someone has a fiver EW. There are always plenty that stick out like a sore thumb but are priced accordingly. Early days but time will tell

It's impossible to oppose play nicely looks like being 2/5 shot and although the time of 2m37 was flattering even though winning by 13ls the win couldv'e been 25ls so probably looking at a time under 2m35 times were flattering that day the gosden horse won earlier in 2m35.77that winner was rated 77 play nicely runs off 69 in the handicap so looks like could be a stone in..If he were to bomb out northside prince looks the one to take advantage has been more consistent this season and looks the only real danger,if fav goes massively short I might have a tiny ew bet on northside pronce or forecast as play nicely only ran 5 days ago..60pt win.
