By:
oh my god blackburn faves had a feeling sum money would come for us after we won lasttwo games. under 2.5 2.06 jesus. have u traded out of unders mate if not leave it i have a feeling this market going odds on at sum point
|
|
By:
im not on unders just the back of blacburn at 3.1 and laid off at 2.86
|
|
By:
ok mate still a very good trade well played.i got the 2.8 on bolton so a good trade this one.
bolton= +£93 the draw =+£93 blackburn =+£93 was tempted to leave more green on blackburn and the draw but overall our away record isn't great and this game is hard for me to call but one things for sure should be some goals just the chelsea unders trade now but will be hangin fire until kickoff |
|
By:
as somebody mentioned on another thread its going to be a unique game and bolton could be carried to victory on a wave of emotion or on the other hand could be flat...so hard to call
|
|
By:
yes mate i completely agree. i think the right decision has been made equal profit across all the outcomes i nearly made the mistake in the wigan game last week where they should have won and got lucky to win £80 with paul scharner equaliser for west brom

unders odds falling nicely in chelsea game

trade number 3 for the weekend. layed man city 1k @1.69 looking for 1.8 absolute minimum. can't believe the price on man city. 2/8 away wins this year only 4 teams won at stoke and no wins in the whole premier league era at the brittainia for city. enough said.
this price is definetly wrong as city went to aston villa a few weeks ago and were 1.8. but stoke are better at home than villa plus kompany might not play and lescott is out , they both played at villa park and is savic is playing i'd want 6/4 on a city win ![]() |
|
By:
followed you in on that one, theres a fair chunk wanting to lay city

|

Couple of good trades Smithy

By:
nice one southcoast just traded out the unders bet at 2.1 did go as low as 2.06 but i was greedy and wanted lower in the end have to settle for 2.1 but a guarenteed £50 so onto city game now
![]() chelsea vs tottenham under 2.5=+£50 over 2.5=+£50 |
|
By:
a good day today £143 profit from the pre match trades with another one on the city game. the fact that kompany and lescott were ruled out meant the markets went back to how they should of been at kickoff in the stoke vs man city game. left the green on city although i don't even think they will win stoke are tough nut to crack and i don't rate them hoping city score 1st so i can lay sum off.
Stoke =£0 the draw=£0 man city=+£100 ![]() layed at 1.69 backed at 1.79 at kickoff |

well played.

another decent week was busy on here studying some goal markets after i had no trades after city game on saturday i had a feeling they might let me down but not to worry.
had a trade on friday night backed under 1.5 goals at 1.99 with £500 at half time in olhanesse vs benfica. score was 0-0 at half time. the market started half time at 1.95 so i left my 1.99 in line but was more in hope of being matched rather than expecting. the bet was matched and then price flew into 1.93 then 1.9 and carried onto 1.83 a couple of mins before the restart. a 16 tick movement without a ball being kicked pretty incredible i thought so i decided to watch a few more half time markets for goals but usually the goal market which is 2 goals away from the current score is the one with the movements. for example: villareal vs real madrid under 2.5 was 1.3 at start of half time and 1.37 by the end west brom vs newcastle under 4.5 was 1.93 at start of half time and 1.98 by the end juventus vs inter under 1.5 was 1.73 at the start of half time and 1.78 by the end. the price even seems to hold up for a couple of mins into the 2nd half, certainly an edge i will be looking further into. as for what the new week brings what on earth are liverpool doing as favourites to beat newcastle next weekend. newcastle were pretty impressive at west brom are comfortably above liverpool in the table and are their for a reason and liverpool's last 10 games showing relegation form.defeats away at sunderland and qpr in last two away and wigan at home surely cannot make people want to back them at around 2.5.i will be leaving 1k down and am looking for anything between 2.5-2.6 which i will be over moon with as they should be 2.8 minimum. liquidity will be low at this point in week but need to get on this early as its a shocking price. ![]() |
|
By:
current score always take a sharp drop from a few seconds before ref blows for half time till 2/3 minutes into half time until market corrects itself
|
|
By:
one for today backed stevenage at 2.04 hoping for 1.9 at kickoff.
missed out on benfica at 2.56 earlier today which i am dissapointed about. i fancy them to win tonight and be wel backed in before kickoff but not geting on 2.44 missed the chance now. ![]() |
|
By:
playing the unders market the opposite way tonight. layed under 2.5 in benfica vs chelsea with 1k at 1.7 seems ridiculously short. i reckon we could see a couple of goals tonight.
|
|
By:
In some of the other Euro matches this week, prices seem a bit out to me. Even for AC Barca tomorrow, there seems to be the assumption of a goalfest, but i think it will be a lot tighter, recent Barca 3 away matches in La Liga have only been 2-0 victories. Likewise Sporting Lisbon v Metalist on Thursday, unders about 1.7 seems too low.

By:
hi andriy nice find. watch which way the markets go i will be having a look
|
|
By:
great shout andriy with barca spot on. i did not have any trades last night as was busy watching blackburn beat burnley in the youth cup was brilliant. been a quiet week up to now but having a monster trade on liverpool on sunday.
i have layed liverpool with 1k at 2.5 and 1k at 2.42 and am hoping for a massive drift which there should be to leave me with a goldmine. i think the odds compilers were pissed when pricing up this game. newcastle tend to be wel backed at home but liverpool are also wel supported but surely their backers have run out of patience and they drifted before kickoff in their last away game at QPR. i have a feeling this could be one of the best pre off trades for a while but then again i maybe wrong. it still will never beat my best one this season layed man u at 2.4 at anfield in prem fixture at kickoff they were 3.2 leaving me in a goldmine good luck people and get those scousers layed. |
|
By:
I've backed Newcastle expecting them to come in 20 or 30 ticks, but i probably should have laid Liverpool instead. I can't see how Newc aren't favourites.
Another good trade i fancy on Saturday is Unders in the Wolves Bolton game; i thought it would be roughly take your pick either side at Evens, but Unders is still above 2.2. It will be a very tense game and neither team is freescoring and i expect this to shorten to at least 2.1 by the off. I also see a couple of good ones in Serie A on Sunday. |
|
By:
i like your style andriy. and your right about bolton game i will be investing if price is 2.2 or above. unders was 1.85 when they played qpr at home so that certainly looks tradeable.
glad u have got on newcastle just dosen't make sense those prices got to take advantage. |
|
By:
yes newcasstle should start around 2.98
another is the local basque derby..bilbao are a massive 24.0 at barca and thats far too big..i expect them to start below 20.0 |
|
By:
''local basque derby'' ffs lol still big though
|
|
By:
i tend not to bet on barcelona matches the prices don't really do anything for me. they never lose at home thats why prices are so high. only time i betted on them was when they were bigger than 2.1 on here to beat man utd in champs league final should of been 4/7.
|
|
By:
andriy great shout with wolves vs bolton i got unders at 2.26 now 2 and we are nowhere near kickoff incredible stuff and a great start to the weekend now can't wait for the massive odds swing with liverpool tommorow i have a feeling its a great trade and that they will drift. done and dusted for today at 8.52 in mornin quality i can go out and enjoy my football match this aft with a guaranteed £130.
wolves vs bolton= under 2.5= +£130 over 2.5= +£130. now watch liverpool drift ![]() |
|
By:
Have you seen the prices for your boys on Monday re. Overs? Even though you have that record of always conceding (at least until Wolves away), this price is too big and could come in considerably, given that it's approaching squeaky bum time. Also if MU decide to try and control the game with just 1 up front, the market will react significantly. See very little downside at circa 2.4, and 15-20 point upside.
|
|
By:
nice one for that andriy i will hang fire until sunday but well worth a look. your right about the market reacting to them playing 5 in midfield the same thing happened in bilbao game away 2.5 into 2.26.
|
|
By:
well this is interesting liverpool 2.26. i am currently looking at a £400 red if i trade out now. if the prices don't sort themselves out at kickoff i will be trading 1k out around kickoff time and leaving 1k in play as i cannot accept liverpool being favourites let alone 2.26.

By:
Actually you are having a 1K bet because you cannot accept being wrong which is a very dangerous game to play in my opinion.
Say you looked at this game for the first time just before kick-off and the Liv price was 2.42. Would you decide to have a 1K bet. If you would then ok but if you wouldn't in that instance then why do it in this instance. |

Hi smithy. Perhaps it is LIVERPOOL's H to H record v NEWCASTLE that is effecting odds?
LIVERPOOL are my main jinx team .....find it hard to guess what might happen with their matches. Some thoughts are... Both teams leak goals.....so fair chance both teams score. The big slow moving player CARROL......is back at ground where he fitted in to their style of lay. However, he appears far too slow to be any good. He will of course score now and then IF players cross accurately and he happens to be in right spot. He might come to life a bit more in this game IF he gets a game. LIV have FA cup game v EVERTON looming up....so they may be "happy" with draw here. NEWCASTLE may be "happy" with draw too........ So not sure how this game might flow. Onus on home tea to attack.......and may go that way with BELLAMY looking to score on break. Would not be surprised if LIV score on break first. If so, then if NEWCASTLE attack full out, then they should score against a pretty shaky defence. Tactics of NEWCASTLE should be attack attack attack........but they will be wary of the break-away first half.....though longer game goes without a goal, then pressure will grow for NEW to go for win. Their fans driving them on. I think NEWCASTLE style of play will suit LIVERPOOL on this ground. So find it hard to see them lose. A 1-1 draw might be the scoreline at some point in game....so will be backing 1-1 and backing OVER 2.5. My guess on final score is 1-1 or 1-2. Hopefully they don't take lead for a long time in game for your bet etc...... ![]() GL with bets. |
|
By:
Backed 0-0......hoping stays that way a while....
Backed 1-1 ..the most likely score ..... LAYED AUQ ....based on me hoping it stays 0-0 a while. Backed OVER 2.5 goals.....as still believe it will go to 1-1 ....and the OVER 2.5 is a hedge for that position arising. GL |

By:
thanks for insight DFCIRONMAN pretty much spot on in my opinion.
U.A- i can except being wrong in some circumstances like the under/over 2.5 markets when pre off trading but when the odds are so clearly wrong i will not accept it.my chances of trading out at a higher price in running in my opinion are high and i think newcastle will score at sumpoint. i still believe we won't see 2.24 at kickoff but lets wait and see ![]() |
|
By:
Is it just big Asian money from Reds fans in that side of the world? I can't believe that some bighitting pros won't come in and lay the pants off Liverpool at some point, these are crazy prices. Have previous Liv matches versus the big teams seen such support, i know the game vs MU at Anfield saw MU drift a lot, but maybe more to them being a false price rather than Red support.

By:
hi andriy thanks for the tip yesterday again. yes it is quite well known that liverpool are wel backed in home and away fixtures especially in home fixtures against the bigger teams as i have found this season.
liverpool vs man utd opened at 3.3 and 2.7 at kickoff liverpool vs man city opened at 3.25 and 2.74 at kickoff liverpool vs tottenham opened at 2.3 and 1.92 at kickoff. so i do like to get an early back in these fixtures. but i was convinced they would drift today as they have no reason to be backed on current form but i suppose this happens now and again. personally i hope they get hammered today so the 2.24 mugs don't win ![]() |
|
By:
team news is out and fer enough bit of a makeshift back four for newcastle so i can take that into consideration.
but then liverpool's line has flanagan, spearing , shelvey and carrol in it. 2.24 WTF must be a fix if no drift |

Hi Smithy,
Been watching your trades with interest recently cos I do something pretty similar. Most of them have been pretty spot on. However, I've got to agree with U.A. on this one in that you are moving from trading to gambling by leaving that Liverpool lay to run. The price probably is a bit low, but if Liverpool score first you are looking at a big liability. If Liverpool win then you are looking at a HUGE liability that will take about 20 good trades to get back ! If I was you I'd get out now with a red that will take you only 3 or 4 trades to get back. Sometimes you just have to accept the market has gone completely the opposite way you thought it would. |
