SCOTLAND beat CZECHS 1-0 in 2010 at Hampden....and at Hampden they have also beaten them in qualifiers before.....so your bet was always a dodgy bet....
Having said that....they should have had a PENALTY and your bet would not been so "DAFT"!!!!  GL P.......but avoid SCOTLAND bets ...as they are so unpredictable...especially against "good" teams....FRANCE etc etc HOLLAND ....when played in SCOTLAND. |

with the impending £30 loss on the scotland game i shall now have to put around £20 on azarenka to beat williams. which, i imagine, will also lose.

I'm not saying I think Serena is good value today, by the way. Of all the players left, Aza's about the only one who could, possibly, outplay her. Lisicki possibly, but it's unlikely. Stosur's too much of a flake, and Zvon and Woz are nowhere near good enough to beat Serena unless she has a very very off day.
1.22 today is fairly skinny, even given the fact that Serena looks very good and Aza is bound to implode at least once. Nonetheless, it would take a brave person to think that Serena won't win... |

Aza's going to be more competitive this set. She's starting to get her eye in... I'd still heavily favour Serena mindst, but don't give up just yet..

Ah. A break for Serena. That is curtains for your bet then Paul! Aza's given it a really good go in this second set, but Serena is just phenomenal. Very strong and hitting the ball with real aggression. And the circumstances of the last year and a bit mean she's hungrier than ever before to prove how good she is. Add to that her strength during times of pressure, and she was always going to prove a high obstacle to jump.
But then, you knew you were going to lose this bet when you placed it... |

Have to say, this is great stuff from Aza! It's ridiculous that she has to meet Serena this early on in the tournament - these are the top two players in my book..
